Designer Notes:
Klaus Teuber was born in 1952, the son of a dentist father and homemaker mother. After receiving his Masters in Dentistry, he apprenticed for his father and ultimately took over the business in 1990. Klaus retired from dentistry in 1999 in order to become a full-time game designer. Klaus Teuber designed his first game in 1981, but the first published game was not until 1988 with Barbarossa und die Rätselmeister which won the prestigious German Spiel des Jahres (Game of the Year) that same year. Klaus continued publishing games on a regular basis, co-founding his own game company. Klaus has won the German Spiel des Jahres four times during his career. Additionally, he won the Best Children’s Game award twice, the German “Gamer’s Choice” award, and the Deutsche Spiel Pries (German Game Prize) four times.
