Don’t worry, my sons and daughters. You needn’t fret about the powerful Medici family any longer. You see, we’ve shrunk them all down and trapped them in this board game. For the rest of eternity, we shall be the ones controlling their miniaturized ships. No longer will they usher in a Renaissance that allows us to focus on art. Instead, we shall bring about a time of greed, in which we will fill our ships with various commodities in a manner based on medium-level bidding mechanics. We shall find glory by stockpiling similar types of commodities and assessing their value. And then, once our ships are filled three times over and have sailed into the distance, then and only then will the victory points be ours.
