Nice puzzle, but you forgot Tanga :p
OK ... this is why we should start a "Hall of Fame" thread.
ACK! #10 has me stumped.
Fun one!
I got them all except #1. Edit: post and solve. That was the smoothest hypercross I've done in a long time. Nice one, fenwic!
[3] (Editted for saltiness.) Ignore the physics.
[5] OMG! Thanks! I was definitely overthinking that one!
Didn't get it until #5.
Stoopid #10! Had me stumped for 4 minutes! Sigh, I'll take 43rd....
#1 has me. salt anyone?
#1 and #10 both have me stumped... hopefully posting this will make the answer materialize.
Edit: OK, #10 came to me.
Edit: Thanks [13] and [16] - I got it! 66th for me tonight!
[10] the picture sort of looks like a letter
hoping for help with 1 myself
Any salt for 13?
[10] if #1 has you stumped, maybe you should put your thoughts down and post them for all the world to see. It just may help.
Struggling with 14
[13] that did it for me! Thanks
[9] [10] [11] #1 So what do you think happened to the tree?
[12] #13 I think a book will help you, maybe an atlas.
[14] #14 The shape is important.
#1 does not follow the theme; it's a general term for a category of user.
Cant get #7....got everything else
pumpuprussia?
[23] Thanks....your clue did it for me. An arrow pointing to the top of an unlit candle would have been a better picture.
The little girl doesn't seem to fit.....yeah...it's what she is doing, but I thought she was brushing her teeth....silly me.
[17] actually it fits perfectly, it is number 12 on the most popular list.
[18] I have the physical version of this onmy bookshelf
[14] Think of William Shatner
[21] he was in the Cryptopix tonight :)
[18] That's not a pump! It's an oil lamp.
[18] The first picture in #7 reminded me of a recent crytopix:

[10] took me longer than it should have...I wonder if my video has uploaded yet.
old movies would have you believe that large warrior women come from #13
[25] I think you meant #10 (not comment 10)
Good one!
So many good clues!
Also, so many passwords to remember. I even had one for good old #1. :)
I'm stuck on #3 and #10. Still can't get 10 even after the salt in [5]
#4 and #8 ???
so easy for you so hard for me.
nm: Post 'n-Solve. Thanks!
[30] #3 might be easier if there was only 1 E
[31] I use #8 to get me from here to where I need to be. I'd be lost without it
#10 we used a lot of these in chemistry but they were never shaped like that
LOL Squeaked in at 99... #10 had me stumped for the longest time.
thanks [26] that was the only one I had trouble with.
Damn, 101st!
[30] perhaps if it were a video you might see it a little better
[17] no, it's a commonly used site, named for the people who would use such a site. Owned by #2. (I prefer WordPress anyway)
not seeing #12... I'm stuck :(
Smacks forehead... got it.
[30] For those still stuck on #10, [11] has some good salt.
[29] Agreed! I really liked #4 and #5. The girl in #4 was too cute.
I thought I had posted this earlier, but I must have forgotten to click the Post button. Better late than never...
Well done!
For #10, Never Gonna Give You Up, Never Gonna Let You Down...
I agree with [2]. This belongs in a Hypercross Hall of Fame. What a great puzzle.
#1 - BlumberJack.com doesn't seem to fit...
edit: nm - found it, though I've only vaguely heard of the site
My favorite one was #10. Great puzzle.
My second hypercross! I was away yesterday, so I missed all the nice comments until now. Wow, glad so many people liked it so much. Makes me want to produce some more...
It's funny, #1, which many people suggested they knew the least is the one I probably have used the most.
Any salt on #1? All the previous salt isn't enough. I probably don't go on the internet enough to know it.
[47] I think it's because the nature of those types of sites to stay within your own community. I have a free account on livejournal, and so the only feeds I can get are those syndicated through LJ. Similarly when I was on xanga. [38] uses WordPress. I actually keep a game design journal on #1, but it's under their b---spot domain, which is why it didn't come to me.
I hope that's enough salt. :)
