You can Tab through the clues while the image is enlarged. You can also click on the first space of a word in the grid to view the clue for that word. I know the solution to this isn't unique, because I just filled the whole thing with zeros and it didn't work.

At first I thought, "Oh no, this is the moment they told you about when you said you'd never use Algebra!" But then I came out of math shock and realized it was actually pretty simple. And I am still waiting for the Algebra moment....
