[13] You should be able to Google any of the phrases at the top of the clues to find out the theme. Hopefully this isn't too much of a burr in your side.

[14] Ah - that's observation for ya - once I got rolling on the solve, I honestly didn't see the phrases. And I'm usually proud of my powers of observation; now humbled.
