    Edit - got it!

    LOVE the dog's costume!!

  6. FilePepperhairy_lime on Thu Mar 12, 2009 07:07 PM

Excellent puzzle - one of the best ever!

  7. FileDuckieescKey on Thu Mar 12, 2009 07:08 PM

    [5] it's doesn't rhyme with art

  8. FractalEggdduensing on Thu Mar 12, 2009 07:10 PM

    Got everything except #5

  9. 160Carrotbtmeyers on Thu Mar 12, 2009 07:11 PM

#5 would have been better with just 1 instead of 4. That through me for a while. Other than that, excellent cluing.

  10. FileTomatobcgrote on Thu Mar 12, 2009 07:11 PM

    #5 isn't an original work...

  11. Patton_scottBananamdkiria on Thu Mar 12, 2009 07:11 PM

#4 tripped me up. 2 ways to spell. Naturally, my first choice was wrong.

    Nice puzzle.

  12. ImagesGarlicracheal0101 on Thu Mar 12, 2009 07:12 PM

YAY.. that was fun! Great job

  13. FractalEggdduensing on Thu Mar 12, 2009 07:14 PM

    [10] Thanks...that was the hint I needed

  14. FileDuckieescKey on Thu Mar 12, 2009 07:16 PM

[11] Thanks! That one had me too. It seems wrong. But then not.

  15. FileTomatotlmitch7 on Thu Mar 12, 2009 07:17 PM

It took forever to check my answers, then it said 'You got it! But we're not going to save your answer', what does that mean?

  16. SouthparkPepperTahnan on Thu Mar 12, 2009 07:18 PM

    Quite nice!

  17. Przewalskis-horseDuckiecrashbaptiste on Thu Mar 12, 2009 07:26 PM

i'm still so stuck with #5.

nevermind... first time a post'n'solve has worked.

  18. Avatar_12-08Pancakesthreehojos on Thu Mar 12, 2009 07:29 PM

Wow! Thanks everyone - glad you enjoyed it! :)

  19. FileDuckiespoofme on Thu Mar 12, 2009 07:52 PM

Is there a theme other than just being compound words? If so I am dense and cannot see it. I still need help with #9

  20. FilePancakesArnott (Tanga Admin) on Thu Mar 12, 2009 07:52 PM

    Neat idea. Good clues.

  21. FileOnionzyrilia on Thu Mar 12, 2009 08:00 PM

    Stuck on 3,5, and 9...

  22. FileEggj15bell on Thu Mar 12, 2009 08:06 PM

#3 - what would call someone who would only spend a $1 on that product?

#5 - like mentioned above it should only have one of what is pictured for an easier id - and that's not an original.

#9 - what are THEY in?

  23. FileDuckiespoofme on Thu Mar 12, 2009 08:07 PM

    #3 - is it expensive, or ...?
#5 - see [9] and it is just a copy of an original work

  24. FileDuckiespoofme on Thu Mar 12, 2009 08:10 PM

[22] for 9 all I can think of is cart, but [7] says it doesn't rhyme with art

  25. FileEggj15bell on Thu Mar 12, 2009 08:12 PM

but it would rhyme with 'a tisket a tasket'

  26. FileDuckiespoofme on Thu Mar 12, 2009 08:14 PM

[25] that did it, thanks for your help :)

  27. FilePumpkinJohnQ118 on Thu Mar 12, 2009 08:15 PM

#3 tough at first with only the same 'commonest english letter' for both the crossed words.

  28. FileSailboatdagibbs on Thu Mar 12, 2009 09:01 PM

Grr... stuck on #7. I think I've got the first part, but not the 2nd.

    [edit] Post 'n' solve.

  29. FileOnionzyrilia on Thu Mar 12, 2009 09:24 PM

[22] Thanks! Those did it for me.

  30. Avatar_profileLemonCapthairy on Fri Mar 13, 2009 06:48 AM

I am drawing a total blank on #6

  31. Przewalskis-horseDuckiecrashbaptiste on Fri Mar 13, 2009 07:29 AM

[30] it doesn't make sense until you read what you've typed to be honest. take it very literally. its a ---- (shape) made from -------- (currency). sorry if this is too salty.

  32. Sc002a57f6Pumpkinrunart on Sat Mar 14, 2009 03:29 AM

    What fantastic cluing.
