I had to look up #7 - I never heard that name for it before :-)

What is #7?

[2] The symbol goes by a NUMBER of different names. Only one of them fits the puzzle theme. If you POUND your head, you should be able to HASH it out.

i think #7 is a made up word, and philana must have recently updated that page on wikipedia. Everything else was pretty straight-forward.

Found at least three different spellings for #7, but only one fits in this puzzle.

I knew #7, have known that name for the symbol for years. Count how many points there are, and the name will make more sense.

I knew #7 but there are a couple (correct) answers. And it's been around as long as the pushbutton telephone...

[20] Yup, it looks like some of the clues got shuffled around, for some reason.

[19], [20] The clues in every hypercross have been shuffled! It must have something to do with the recent site upgrades.

I was going to ask which version of the # I needed to use... Doh!
