8 is catching me up along with 3. I knwo the author; I see the number, but I feel like I need to know the original language to do anyhting with thsi puzzle. Help or TG, anyone?
Okay I get #7 now, but I don't get #8 It looks like an experiment of some sort and the object or shape looks fimilar but I can't put my finger on how it fits the theme, or I could probably figure it out :(.
#5 is one of the funniest clues I've seen in a long time. Thanks for that.
#8 was more literal than I originally thought. Not a type of barometer :-)
#3: wow. Just wow.
Stuck on #3 and #7
Hurting my head...
Any salt on #3, #5, or #7?
#3 has a number
had to look up most of them. Thanks #9.
Tricky clues. Nice puzzle.
I tried a few "unusual" methods for the clues in this puzzle... :)
#3: Figure out the three-letter answer that's missing, then follow the last instruction.
#5: What are the animals, and what is the man saying that they are doing? (This one is best figured out in reverse, after figuring out the theme.)
#7: That's a picture of the Colosseum.
[3] I agree. No idea that would happen.
Murdoctor, how in the world did you stumble across the clue for #3?
[11] that's just one of the awesome thing about making puzzles. you learn all sorts of strange facts playing with letters.
Play with them as I might, I still don't get #6 or #5
[11] I just tried every number until I found something usable. LOL
for #5, am I correct in guessing that those are not mice?
maybe the best-clued hypercross ever. But I still can't get 3
DAG. I just nailed the ones I was missing.
I take my hat off to you, sir!
I had to guess on #5 and #7. Even after solving it, I have no idea how the clues lead to those answers.
[14] they are mice
Yup, very much fun. Nice level of difficulty.
Thank you Murdoctor.
All the salt you'll need is in the title...

Wow, was that smart and fun.
[21] You don't need to know the language... just how to subtract (in a traditional Tanga way).
I don't get 7 and 8.
Loved #5...gave me the most trouble, but i loved it!
Any salt on #7 and #8
[24][26] I gave some salt for the left side of #7 in [9]. For the right side, you'll have to identify that universal constant.
For #8, don't overthink it... it is what it is (the shape, and the object).
And figuring out the theme will help a lot.

OH!!!! I get #8 now. thanks [27]
Two days now and definitely spent more time on this than anyone should reasonably spend on a small hypercross.
Still can't get it.
Since I solve virtually all hypercrosses it means it must be very poorly constructed.
[30] Or perhaps just a bit trickier than most. See [8], [9], [15], [19], and [22].
[31] Undoubtedly because the answers are discussed through tangagrams.
The clue for #5 is :(
it's better and easier if you say it's NOT the answer to #4
Great puzzle....the baby formula clue is the best one for figuring out the theme.
