Needed to look up #1 and #10, but the pieces worked quickly.

  4. Phi3CornPhilana on Wed Apr 01, 2009 07:10 PM

Great clues! #6 was the last one I figured out, and it's my favorite.

  5. SouthparkPepperTahnan on Wed Apr 01, 2009 07:10 PM

23rd. Took me a long time to work out the first six letters of #2 (which it turns out are not "Disney").

  6. FileEggGamesX4 on Wed Apr 01, 2009 07:12 PM

    any salt for #2?

  7. DebsAppleEVDebs on Wed Apr 01, 2009 07:14 PM

Stumped on #7 and #8...and not sure about #6 (and I speak a little Russian!)

    Well..I got #6...still working on #7 and #8

  8. DebsAppleEVDebs on Wed Apr 01, 2009 07:13 PM

[6] Google maps is always helpful for map clues.

    All but #10

  10. DebsAppleEVDebs on Wed Apr 01, 2009 07:17 PM

  12. Avatar_profileEggknights23 on Wed Apr 01, 2009 07:29 PM

    any help with #6?

got it - [7] was just salty enough

    [9] #10 is a song

  14. FileEggMurdoctor on Wed Apr 01, 2009 07:40 PM

Thanks, all. I'm just disappointed I couldn't think of a good clue for Mr. T's tag line...

  15. FileOnionzyrilia on Wed Apr 01, 2009 07:53 PM

Very cool puzzle. Not easy, but not insanely difficult, either.

  16. FileTomatoLordXerxes on Wed Apr 01, 2009 08:01 PM

I'm still stuck on #7. Salt anyone?

  17. FileEggMurdoctor on Wed Apr 01, 2009 08:07 PM

[11][16] He is going ____ in a circle.

  18. FileTomatoLordXerxes on Wed Apr 01, 2009 08:09 PM

    [17] Thanks.

  19. FileDuckiespoofme on Wed Apr 01, 2009 09:22 PM

I still can't figure out the second half on #6

  20. Sexy_lips2AceCiabelle on Thu Apr 02, 2009 01:16 AM

Yikes, spent 10 minutes or so Googling the phrases in 6, trying to find a pattern, then all in a sudden it clicked with a forehead slap.

[12] is correct, [7] is really all the salt you'll need for this one.

  21. FileSailboatyelowflower on Thu Apr 02, 2009 01:55 AM

    I'm with [16] can't get #7 - probably simple and I'm overthinking it

NM post and solve....lovely puzzle, thank you

I was 119th....little harder then most thought I think - but a good one

  22. PirateleadfootPumpkinleadfoot on Thu Apr 02, 2009 09:53 AM

    A really fun puzzle!

    Thanks Doc!

  23. Avatar_profilePotatocanyc on Thu Apr 02, 2009 04:39 PM

What messed me up with #7 was confusing the jester's staff for a second jester

  24. FileDuckietwofalls on Thu Apr 02, 2009 05:17 PM

Great one! #6 was definitely a D'oh!! moment!

  25. Avatar_profileKiwithatsteveguy on Thu Apr 02, 2009 05:57 PM

I really need to brush up on my geography.

  26. FilePumpkinJohnQ118 on Thu Apr 02, 2009 07:28 PM

    #6 #7 #8 are the stumpers here.
    Any clues given?
    ---
    thks [17] for #7

  27. FileDuckiespoofme on Fri Apr 03, 2009 10:23 AM

[26] #6 is something about geography and/or a little bit of speaking Russian, but I still don't get it.

edit: thanks [28] I feel so foolish

  28. FileEggMurdoctor on Fri Apr 03, 2009 06:28 AM

[27] You've actually got it... just need to realize what you are saying.

[26] For #8, what would you call what you see on the right side of the clue image?

I'm actually surprised none of the mathy people around here said anything about that clue. LOL

  29. GeckoAppleGolfProRM on Fri Apr 03, 2009 01:15 PM

wow - #6 really is a D'oh! moment! Had to talk myself through it.

  30. FilePumpkinJohnQ118 on Fri Apr 03, 2009 03:00 PM

okok TY! I had an FOOLish error on #10 which screwed up my crosses. NOW I got it complete.

And to make matters better - I had two last-minute job interviews yesterday and got an offer to work! (at the CA Academy of Sciences)
-so only three months on the unemployment line (my last supervisor says they were FOOLish to let me go...).
