    Strange...

  5. AssetsPepperdajagr on Jul 20, 2009 07:13 PM

    Kind of a loose theme...

  6. AssetsCarrotpitamuffin on Jul 20, 2009 07:15 PM

Yeah, I don't get the theme either. Maybe the wrong last name was used in the puzzle title?

  7. AssetsPancakesjmcintyre on Jul 20, 2009 07:19 PM

Unusual, but I found it "appeeling" nonetheless.

Am I missing something? I'm stuck on #4.

Oops, NM. But my answers still aren't working...

Oh, NM, again. I made up my own word for #12....I think a monkey could type better than me....

[6] Did you mean to title it "John Chapman"? Sammydb?

  10. AssetsPepperTahnan on Jul 20, 2009 08:25 PM

I think "Carpenter" in the sense that there's some cutting things apart and reattaching them to build new answers. This was certainly different, but I found it quite enjoyable.

    too easy?

  12. AssetsPumpkinrunart on Jul 21, 2009 03:54 AM

It was fun to try to do it as fast as you can.

  13. AssetsGarlicsammydb on Jul 21, 2009 06:38 AM

    yep [9].

  14. AssetsAceCiabelle on Jul 21, 2009 07:09 AM

#3 looks a lot more like a melon or squash than what the answer is, so I was lost until I solved by context.

Feel there needs to actually be a "C" to subtract in #4 and #12 (The latter which really made no sense to me but was easily guessed.)

    I'm stumped by 11 and 12.
In 11, is it the pinkish thing, or what?

12 makes sense... post and solve.
But 11 still messes me up

Oh, 11 also makes sense... post and solve again.

I'm stuck on #4. I get the title. I learned that in first grade!

    (got it.. duh!)
