Nice Puzzle!

[2] For the first picture, it's an action -- what she's doing. It could have been clued with a letter instead.
[3] Having trouble with that one myself.
EDIT: Got it... needed help from MedCheryl to push me in the right direction. There's a silent letter at the beginning.
[12] Thanks still have something wrong finally got it :)
must be #15. these singing clues are helping much.
[15] #15 breaks form ever so slightly with the rest of the answers. Don't let it psych you out.
thought I got them all, but don't. any tricky ones?
[16] This is a great clue but I had never heard of this word and I'm pretty old.
The "music" hint meant little or nothing.

[17] Clue 15 was probably the trickiest
For those still having trouble with #15, it refers to a liturgical publication based on a book in the bible.
Read post [16] carefully and it may come to you.
[13] - thanks for the salt on #15 ... I never heard of that word.
#15 isn't fair.
15 was tough, but only cause i'd never heard of it. maybe if it had been crossed with something else to help my dumb brain out. oh well.
i don get why its not accepting....everything fits well, everything spelled right...
#7 and #13 are giving me problems.
[22][23]ditto.
[25]check #15 ... pshaw; 'nuff said.
[13] Was the help I needed for #15. [7] Had me googling synonyms for "hymnal" and coming up empty.
#6, #8, #12, and #16 also not words I'm terribly familiar with. #14 is familiar, but only when conjugated a bit differently. Clued well enough for me to confirm with Google that I was on the right track.
#9 would have caused less confusion if the first picture eliminated the stove top, perhaps a picture of an appliance found in a pizzeria?
Hmmmm. No clue on one of them.... but which one?
Was missing #15 but [7] said enough to get me thinking in the right direction then remembered the word from Scrabble - likewise know #16 as a Scrabble bingo.
this puzzle type would work better if we could know which ones are wrong....
