That was fun, but I'll be paying for it in the morning.

  2. AssetsEggjohninc on Jan 25, 2010 07:06 PM

I'm enjoying some #7 right now.

  3. AssetsEgggst on Jan 25, 2010 07:06 PM

    Fun!
    #10 is pretty cool.

  4. AssetsCornPhilana on Jan 25, 2010 07:07 PM

    Yes, #10 made me laugh.

  5. AssetsCheeseburgersoccer_ref on Jan 25, 2010 07:09 PM

    I want some now

  6. AssetsEggWhiteKnight85 on Jan 25, 2010 07:12 PM

    Spelling slowed me way down.

I don't get the clue for #10, but I was able to get the word with the first half of the clue, plus the theme.

  7. AssetsPancakesCWarrior on Jan 25, 2010 07:14 PM

#10 is awesome ... the clue, not the item itself ... although the item might be awesome too, but I have no experience there.

  8. AssetsEggIrrenarzt on Jan 25, 2010 07:23 PM

#10 is the one I assume they think I have wrong but I can't think of anything else that fits it. That or I have a spelling issue even though I checked everything twice.

Nope it was 1 that got me. I spell it a different way.

  9. AssetsXylophonehouck on Jan 25, 2010 07:16 PM

Yup! "Spaghetti minus a hot dog" had me stumped for a while too but I also had enough #7 in me to get me through.

  10. AssetsXylophonehouck on Jan 25, 2010 07:17 PM

[8] send me your list if you wish doc

  11. AssetsGarlicsykottik on Jan 25, 2010 07:19 PM

I wasted many many minutes ignoring "i before e."

  12. AssetsEggWhiteKnight85 on Jan 25, 2010 07:21 PM

Actually, I just had my wife come over and she explained it to me. And I thought *I* was the Freakin' Genius around here....

  13. AssetsPumpkinJohnQ118 on Jan 25, 2010 08:18 PM

    no whining

#10 isn't when in the bun.

  14. AssetsPepperracheal0101 on Jan 25, 2010 08:21 PM

  15. AssetsEggj15bell on Jan 25, 2010 08:54 PM

especially like reading the properties. very clever.

  16. AssetsRocketmeshneiarin on Jan 25, 2010 09:00 PM

[14] Use it in a chicken or shrimp dish. Delicious.

  17. AssetsEggj15bell on Jan 25, 2010 09:11 PM

[14] that's our neighboring red planet.

  18. AssetsOnionidontkn1 on Jan 25, 2010 09:27 PM

  19. Avatar_profileWatermelonmotorfrogx on Jan 25, 2010 09:42 PM

wish I was tasting them all!

  20. AssetsApplenkpham on Jan 25, 2010 11:05 PM

geez... it took me forever to figure out that it was #3 i was spelling wrong...

  21. AssetsKiwipadlocksan on Jan 26, 2010 12:21 AM

The spellings are tough for a non-snob like me. Remember folks, the clues are ALL phonetic this time! fun.

It took me until clue #9 to get my first answer and thereby the theme. I thought clue #2 had soemthing to do with "Peanot Butter". hey, it goes on toast, right? :)

  22. AssetsPancakesArnott (Tanga Admin) on Jan 26, 2010 01:50 AM

[3][4][6][7][8][9] Yeah, I modded this, and #10 is kind of... lateral. But it was just too funny, once it hits you. And I was fairly sure people would get the answer anyway from the theme and the first part... and thankfully, you guys did :)

  23. AssetsPepperracheal0101 on Jan 26, 2010 03:43 AM

went to bed, just got up and still no idea what 12 is. I knew what the pictures are of but not how to make something of them

  24. Avatar_profileOrangeTheLLama on Jan 26, 2010 03:57 AM

Love me some Johnson's Baby Poo

  25. Avatar_profileGrapesMickey1821 on Jan 26, 2010 04:38 AM

amazing that as a non-drinker this is the first puzzle I solved, must be due to the daughter that works at an upscale local restaurant :)

  26. Avatar_profileOrangeTheLLama on Jan 26, 2010 04:44 AM

    Don't be such a chicken, [23]

  27. Avatar_profileRadishLegendDan on Jan 26, 2010 05:58 AM

I could solve most of these on knowledge - I used to pour at tastings. But I did have to go to a <theme> list in order to find all the proper spellings.

  28. AssetsGarlicpandapal on Jan 26, 2010 09:54 AM

    Love #4! Great clues overall!

  29. AssetsRocketjohanna on Jan 26, 2010 10:13 AM

#12 is used to make a classic chicken or veal Italian dish. It's strictly for cooking. And have drunk all of the others at least once and still got the spellings wrong at first.

  30. AssetsPepperracheal0101 on Jan 26, 2010 03:26 PM

WOW finally got there. Thanks for the help

  31. AssetsStrawberrysuziesmom on Jan 26, 2010 04:53 PM

    A toast to you susie!

  32. AssetsAceCiabelle on Jan 26, 2010 06:31 PM

[11] Yes, and other wEIrd policIEs of the English language..

  33. AssetsCarrotsnugu on Jan 26, 2010 08:36 PM

    I've finished now, but I still don't get #10...

Edit: I thought about it for several minutes, then 5 seconds after I post...

  34. Avatar_profileAcepitbull44 on Jan 26, 2010 08:55 PM

Glad you used a "hot dog", so to speak, for 10 and not a slang term/photo. Should actually be easy for those in New England or New York.

  35. AssetsRocketfenwic on Jan 27, 2010 12:46 PM

TERRIFIC! (But I couldn't spell #3...) Great puzzle.
