Thanks, [4], I think I have that part, I can't figure out what's on the board. (I didn't see any thing in Google images with the right middle (of three) letters)
[13] think windmills and the last picture for #3. for #13, i don't know if this will help but that bird is a logo for a prominent children's book publisher and is a division under penguin books. if that doesn't help, think breakfast food....
Delicious! [15][20] #7 is spelled just like the clue shows it, and that's what my cookbook calls it too. I've heard of the other spelling/pronunciation though.
P.S. I must admit that though I solved it I did not understand the first picture reference for #3. I solved it with the help of a dictionary since I had solved everything else and had only 3 missing letters for the first word (after I figured out the latter clues)
I know all the answers , but something is misspelled. And It isn't #7 which I have spelled as the puzzle suggests, although I feel it is wrong. The 'correct spelling won't fit.
OK I have #4 spelled like the Muppet's name and the alternate spelling on #7 which is the only one that fits and it still won't take it. aargh! I've googled all the rest and I certainly have the preferred spellings. What else might I have wrong? And I don't get the Einstein clue either but don't need it. The windmill country has to be right because it fits with the preferred spelling of #5 rather than GOOgle. Somebody HELP!
This was fun!
I'm stuck on #3 any salt out there?
Yeah - fun one!
My hockey fandom cost me a few points by using a francophone spelling for #12 for awhile.
[2]That's a small version of a church(Think Las Vegas)

[5] TG sent.
Fun Puzzle!
many thanks [6] and [4]
I could use some salt for the first part of #3 as well, please.
EDIT: Nvm, post and solve.
Tasty puzzle.
Hint: #14 is not "tumor head". ;)
Good puzzle & good clues.
Help with 3 and 13, please? My head cold is making me stupid tonight!
Wow... I'm amazed I got all the spellings correct on the first try. Fun Puzzle!
I've only ever seen the answer for #7 used as the misspelling of the dish's name, though it can technically be correct.

DUH!
I have no idea on what to make of the nativity scene #9. The second part of the clue is usually associated with #2 and #10.
Thanks for the help!
what the flip? #7 hows the spelling work on that one?
Delicious! [15] [20] #7 is spelled just like the clue shows it, and that's what my cookbook calls it too. I've heard of the other spelling/pronunciation though.
salt...please...#14?
NVM...
1st word in #9 took me forever! So easy once you have it!!
[18] what is the main structure?
Okay, I can not get #3. At least the first part, and I know what the cosmological equation is...
Never mind... got it but there's an error somewhere...
Found it, #14 has some tough spelling there at the beginning
[16] It looks like a parrot to me...never heard of the children's book publisher before and I'm really old!
Didn't need it for the answer though...
Fun and straightforward one, must67!
I should not have done it before breakfast... now I'm too hungry and have too many choices...
I gained 4 pounds just solving this one....
stuck...on...3.
If it helps, Einstein was flying into Toledo next.
That's some of the most impressive, creative cluing I have ever seen on Tanga.
I don't usually do hypercrosses but this caught my eye and was fun. Kudos!
not taking. misspelled something.
laughed out loud on #14 and it took all the salt available for #3. thanks [16]
This was a first-rate puzzle! Fun - and clue structures were perfect!
something misspelled.....AAAARRRG!!!
I had trouble with #14, so I turned to the Bible for help with this burden. In the end I fished out the answer then rode off into the sunset.
First hypercross I solved - yay!
P.S. I must admit that though I solved it I did not understand the first picture reference for #3. I solved it with the help of a dictionary since I had solved everything else and had only 3 missing letters for the first word (after I figured out the latter clues)

Ah! it was a legitimate, alternate spelling on #4
OK I have #4 spelled like the Muppet's name and the alternate spelling on #7 which is the only one that fits and it still won't take it. aargh! [42], You don't need to know how to spell the muppet's name. You just have to be able to fill in the blank.
For those struggling with the first clue of #3, just replace the intelligent man with a condescending man.
This is my first solved crossword. Yay!
