[2] I ran into that same problem, but the error became pretty obvious after the rest of the grid was filled in so was easily fixed with only two permutations of that clue.
YAY!! Thanks for the salt [7]! Came in at 89th, just under the wire.
Side gripe - it would be nice if the contents of the puzzle didn't obliterate itself when I edit a message! I had all bout 5 and had to retype it all in. :(
Never heard of #11. The rest weren't too hard to figure out once I worked out the theme (which took longer than I care to admit). Good puzzle.
#16 has 2 possible answers. The parts of the answer form a word in either order, but only one of them is correct for this puzzle.
[1] Think Elvis.
17 is killing me
9 has me stumped...
Edit: Actually, I think 9 and 5 I have wrong. :(
[4] as in...you can't get it? or...you're groaning after getting it?
[5] Think books.
Didn't get a one until #12
I can't get it. all the others came quickly and easily
I had to get to #9 before I figured out the theme. :)
13 is killing me after getting the dr phil question
[2] I ran into that same problem, but the error became pretty obvious after the rest of the grid was filled in so was easily fixed with only two permutations of that clue.
[9] TG sent.

[11] Don't overthink it...maybe you've been partying too much to play these games? :)
[5] the picture of Sally in #9 could be replaced by some South African currency
[14] That shouldn't be happening.
If anyone wants to TG what they've got to me, I'll try to help. But I'll only be here until about 10:45 Eastern.
[11] #7 is a specific one of #13
[15] thank you I was totally missing the obvious and had the wrong animal.
[2] - thanks, that is exactly where I was stumped. If I read your comment earlier I would have been in the top 100
[21] Glad I could help (sorry it wasn't sooner for you)
Anyone still around to help with #17?
[23] You're not looking for a single word here but a phrase and tonight's theme gets it into the swing of things.
Sweet puzzle. Themed after one of my favorite shows! A few really nice uncommon clues, too.
I really liked this puzzle. Thanks
#5 was the stumper - until I flipped over it.
[17]it happens to me...
[2] Thanks.
[23] Don't use the phonetic name for the character you see - use the phonetic sound it makes.
That was actually a lot of fun as soon as I got the theme. Thank you for the puzzle and for including all of the crossing clues!
and I think I have only #13 wrong. Salt there please? DUH Post and solve.
[31] It's related to #7
I got the theme right away, but I watch a lot of TV on Monday nights. :-) Excellent puzzle.
I got them all.
BUT I still don't understand #9, even though I know who the lady is. Would someone TG explain it to me?
#9 is a book publisher, [34] is that what you are looking for?
#1 is still stumping me ?!?!?!?
NM I get #1, it's #8 stumping me!
Shoot! That's what was messing me up, too, [2]! Thanks.
don't get #11 at all, any clues? phonetics aren't workin for me, last answer!
i'm really not getting 17 at all.
I need help with 17 as well
