    Stuck on #12

  4. AssetsPancakesCWarrior on Nov 26, 2009 07:18 PM

I was good and ready for something like this ...

  5. AssetsAppleBayes on Nov 26, 2009 07:27 PM

    Edit: Got #12
When I lie on my back, no matter what time it is, I see what?

[5] [3] a home or cage for a rabbit uses the same word as that piece of furniture

  7. AssetsDuckiespoofme on Nov 26, 2009 07:28 PM

[3] that piece of furniture is sort of like a china cabinet

  8. AssetsPepperhairy_lime on Nov 26, 2009 07:42 PM

    [6] [7] Thank you!

  9. AssetsCarrotsnugu on Nov 26, 2009 07:50 PM

[3][5] I'll say that the word given by the picture is neither "cabinet" nor "cupboard" nor "dresser". Not sure what else to say that wouldn't totally give it away.

    Absolutley a great puzzle.

  11. Avatar_profileAcepitbull44 on Nov 26, 2009 08:13 PM

[3] You'll find a very similar word from someone at the Cathedral in Notre Dame...

  12. AssetsPepperTahnan on Nov 27, 2009 02:44 AM

The icons in the corners cracked me up. :-)

  13. AssetsPumpkinrunart on Nov 27, 2009 04:05 AM

    I'm with [10].

    Bravo, Philana!

Hint for everyone a obtuse as me: The lightning bolt on #2 does not denote "weather." Also, if you're from the desert: that is NOT a sparrow.

Loving the puzzle, but need some salt for #8. NM light went on and fixed misspelling

  16. AssetsSailboatESQuire on Nov 27, 2009 09:35 AM

erm... what kind of wreath is that in 13?

  17. AssetsPancakesbrupop on Nov 27, 2009 10:14 AM

[16] You might wear it with your Toga.

  18. AssetsPotatoDadmeister on Nov 27, 2009 01:31 PM

Stuck on 5 and 10. NM It always helps to say the clue aloud.

  19. AssetsGarlicsammydb on Nov 27, 2009 06:34 PM

  20. AssetsPumpkinJohnQ118 on Nov 27, 2009 09:08 PM

    what th' 'ell is #10?
OIC -—"earned 20 points..." shoulda asked 'Who'

  21. AssetsAppleboop on Nov 27, 2009 09:56 PM

still stumped on 12, anymore salt?

  22. AssetsAppleboop on Nov 27, 2009 10:08 PM

    nm, got it!!

  23. AssetsDuckiedavey3 on Nov 28, 2009 05:03 AM

Liked the icons, but #7 and #10 should use old testament icons, not new testament.

  24. AssetsAceCiabelle on Nov 28, 2009 08:52 AM

[23] Not sure what symbol(s) would be universally recognized for the old testament. My only minor quibble with #10 is that either 24 or 31 should have been circled, but not both. Still fun and easy.

[16] I would advise against resting on it.

  25. AssetsOnionzyrilia on Nov 28, 2009 06:40 PM

#5 is killing me. I should know this.

    NM. Google is my friend.

    Great puzzle, by the way!
