I can't believe this, jebediehard. I had this idea just this past weekend. I even listed the first several verses on a piece of paper still sitting at my computer! I was going to entitle it "It Wasn't Us". Guess I should have gotten first with all the answers right in front of me, huh? I'll take 4th though.
I hope the clues were good, since after reading the title and getting the first clue, I went ahead and typed in the rest of the answers without looking. :-)
Is there any way to list the complete answers for hypercross, after its ended, so we can actually stop dreaming about it, with sometimes soo many possible spellings, plz
[14] You use the missing parts of the two names, changing the N in each to an H and you get something that sounds like a certain 1950s era politician that got his own "ism" named after him.
Awesome!

Nicely puzzling.

#10 was one of my favorites too. Extremely nicely clued - all of them!

Good one!
What a blast! Thanks jebediehard! Fun one!

(EDIT: #10 is terrific!)
Great clues!
I get the clue on #10, don't get the theme?
[10] Google the title and maybe a certain Piano Man singer...
curse my damnable spelling, took about a minute of my time after completion figuring out the 3 I misspelled

If you didn't know that these clues were lyrics in a song, some of these clues were not so good.
I expect a little better from jebediehard.
I have no idea what the theme is....

[19] I totally agree!
i love the 80s
[8] Hokey smokes!
Did you have to perform it or something, at some point?
Good puzzle. Thanks.
Great cluing! Fun puzzle!
Yeah, a couple clues were not so great, but I twigged to the theme at about the first clue...
We didn't start this.....
#10 was a great clue....awesome puzzle!
An excellent puzzle with a built-in cheat sheet! I'll admit I had to refer to it for #6.
Good job, one of the best clued and most fun I've seen here!
I didn't get the theme until the puzzle was almost done and I only had to figure out those plates, #3. They really stumped me
My uncle used to drive a #10! Cool puzzle! Thanx :)
