spelling for #9 tripped me up. i solved quickly but couldn't figure out where the spelling error was. very sly of you. :)

And don't you hate it when the wrong spelling comes up as often in Google as the right one like for #9

the references just don't seem friendly. it's a bummer since this is the first opening i've made it to in a while.

#15 is classic! I love the simplicity of those pictures, and how they don't account in the least bit for all the violence! :-D

I have to agree with [22] about #15 & had to look up correct spelling for #9, and in #18 "&" did not show up in the grid although it did show on right side clues (using Chrome) but still got my tanga points for solving. But by far one of the best (& funniest) clues I've ever seen in any hypercross has to be #13
