Not taking, wonder if it's number 7??
edit: nope it was the spelling on 6
[1] Take 7 literally... I looked up the British phrase and came up with 'fists' which isn't right.
I must be missing something...
I've got answers that fit and they all look right ... not correct though ... hmmm ...
[2] I did take it literally....but no solve.
same problem as [1]
Yes ... #6 might have been better clued if the man's picture had been replaced with a large shopping center frequented by teens.
[5] try spelling on 6...several variations....
#7 seems to be my biggest question...
Spelling of #6 is a little tricky!
I'm stuck on #7 also, any clues?
[7] or a picture of some cheeks (facial, in case you were wondering) with the key....
Is there a theme here, because even though I solved it fairly quickly I don't see how these things are related.
[9], see [2]....
edit: [13]..agree seems like a kind of loose theme....
Spelling on 6 got me :(
[8] nope...tried 3 different variations of spelling
i know 6, but 7 or 4 is hurting D:
#4 seems to be stumping me for some reason..
Never mind it was #7 i had wrong...
DOH!
[16] tg sent
[19] me too? if possible D:
theme easy but I all bunched up over #7, help please?
#10 isn't a penny...that's what was screwing me up...
[21] it is what is
#9 has me singing the song now....damn, can't get it out of my head!
[24] same here!
Still having trouble with one of them. If 7 is so literal, then why isn't it taking? Is 4 a weird one?
the spelling on 6 was kind of wacky. finally got it!
[25] #4 turns out to be a name. Take the pic, add E ....
on #4 is the focus on the numbers or the background? Still stuck! grrr!
[28] Numbers? #4 is pointing to her hair. Perhaps you mean #7? If so, then yes, the numbers. The background will only tell you why it fits the theme.
ok I've got them all, I thought but somethings not taking. can I send my answers to someone?
Thank you [8] [10]. Never seen it spelled that way.
I don't get the theme at all, unless it's the answer to #10... but I've got it all right. Ergo, weird puzzle for me.
[32] These are all a BUNCH of clues :-)
So, I got them all, right off the bat... but I have no idea why number 7 has the background image it has.
And yeah, you music virused me, too. Off to my music library...
(Oh, and I know of no other way to spell 6.)
[34] A you-know-what of #7 is, among other things, an English expression meaning "A fist".
I must be stupid....#5 has me totally stumped!
[36] if you're still here, try Simon & Garfunkel's "Parsley, Sage, Rosemary & _ _ _ _ _". Now that's a earworm worth having! :)
definitely stuck on #4 (not 7)
If you're still stuck on #4, it may help to know that the theme word comes after the clue for this one, where on most of the other clues the theme word comes first.
[7] I disagree, as that's not how the word is pronounced. I think clues should always favor being phonetic over being... uh... spelling-etic.
So excited that I had nailed this one, but only to find out that something is not correct.
I am guessing it is #7, but from the comments, appears it should be literal, so what's in the forefront.
#EDIT# Nevermind, I had swapped two letters on the spice, so simple spelling snafu!
Need help on #4 and #5.
Got #5, didn't realize that the order and type of spices was deliberate. Still stuck on #4.
Got it finally.
When it didn't fit, I read post [1] and did the same thing.
Thanks [39]. That really helped me out. :)
Spelling on #6 is what got me. Try different ways....
