Not taking, wonder if it's number 7??

edit: nope it was the spelling on 6

  2. AssetsDuckiecrashbaptiste on Jun 12, 2010 07:08 PM

[1] Take 7 literally... I looked up the British phrase and came up with 'fists' which isn't right.

  3. AssetsEggplantgusssr on Jun 12, 2010 07:08 PM

    I must be missing something...

  4. AssetsPancakesCWarrior on Jun 12, 2010 07:10 PM

I've got answers that fit and they all look right ... not correct though ... hmmm ...

  5. AssetsTomatodduensing on Jun 12, 2010 07:11 PM

[2] I did take it literally....but no solve.

  6. Avatar_profileKiwiPiratefishy on Jun 12, 2010 07:12 PM

    same problem as [1]

  7. AssetsPancakesCWarrior on Jun 12, 2010 07:12 PM

Yes ... #6 might have been better clued if the man's picture had been replaced with a large shopping center frequented by teens.

  8. AssetsEggendel3 on Jun 12, 2010 07:12 PM

[5] try spelling on 6...several variations....

  9. AssetsEggplantgusssr on Jun 12, 2010 07:12 PM

#7 seems to be my biggest question...

  10. Avatar_profilePotatostellasung on Jun 12, 2010 07:14 PM

Spelling of #6 is a little tricky!

  11. Avatar_profileKiwimoodasz on Jun 12, 2010 07:14 PM

I'm stuck on #7 also, any clues?

  12. AssetsEggendel3 on Jun 12, 2010 07:15 PM

[7] or a picture of some cheeks (facial, in case you were wondering) with the key....

  13. AssetsEggGamesX4 on Jun 12, 2010 07:15 PM

Is there a theme here, because even though I solved it fairly quickly I don't see how these things are related.

  14. AssetsEggendel3 on Jun 12, 2010 07:16 PM

    [9], see [2]....
edit: [13]..agree seems like a kind of loose theme....

  15. AssetsRaspberrydmlafrance on Jun 12, 2010 07:15 PM

Spelling on 6 got me :(

  16. AssetsTomatodduensing on Jun 12, 2010 07:17 PM

    [8] nope...tried 3 different variations of spelling

  17. Avatar_profileKiwiPiratefishy on Jun 12, 2010 07:19 PM

    i know 6, but 7 or 4 is hurting D:

  18. AssetsRaspberrybeerguy101 on Jun 12, 2010 07:25 PM

#4 seems to be stumping me for some reason..

Never mind it was #7 i had wrong...

    DOH!

  19. AssetsEggendel3 on Jun 12, 2010 07:19 PM

    [16] tg sent

  20. Avatar_profileKiwiPiratefishy on Jun 12, 2010 07:20 PM

[19] me too? if possible D:

  21. Avatar_profileKiwimoodasz on Jun 12, 2010 07:22 PM

theme easy but I all bunched up over #7, help please?

  22. AssetsRadishjeanerz13 on Jun 12, 2010 07:22 PM

    #10 isn't a penny...that's what was screwing me up...

  23. AssetsRadishjeanerz13 on Jun 12, 2010 07:23 PM

    [21] it is what is

  24. AssetsCheeseburgersoccer_ref on Jun 12, 2010 07:24 PM

#9 has me singing the song now....damn, can't get it out of my head!

  25. Avatar_profileKiwiPiratefishy on Jun 12, 2010 07:26 PM

    [24] same here!

Still having trouble with one of them. If 7 is so literal, then why isn't it taking? Is 4 a weird one?

  26. Avatar_profileKiwiPiratefishy on Jun 12, 2010 07:30 PM

the spelling on 6 was kind of wacky. finally got it!

  27. AssetsCheeseburgersoccer_ref on Jun 12, 2010 07:54 PM

[25] #4 turns out to be a name. Take the pic, add E ....

  28. Avatar_profileKiwimoodasz on Jun 12, 2010 08:00 PM

on #4 is the focus on the numbers or the background? Still stuck! grrr!

  29. AssetsCheeseburgersoccer_ref on Jun 12, 2010 08:01 PM

[28] Numbers? #4 is pointing to her hair. Perhaps you mean #7? If so, then yes, the numbers. The background will only tell you why it fits the theme.

  30. Avatar_profileKiwimoodasz on Jun 12, 2010 08:09 PM

ok I've got them all, I thought but somethings not taking. can I send my answers to someone?

  31. AssetsRadishshirl60 on Jun 12, 2010 08:47 PM

Thank you [8] [10]. Never seen it spelled that way.

  32. AssetsKiwi62mackinnon on Jun 12, 2010 08:55 PM

I don't get the theme at all, unless it's the answer to #10... but I've got it all right. Ergo, weird puzzle for me.

  33. AssetsRadishshirl60 on Jun 12, 2010 09:58 PM

[32] These are all a BUNCH of clues :-)

  34. AssetsPotatojbsegal on Jun 12, 2010 10:31 PM

So, I got them all, right off the bat... but I have no idea why number 7 has the background image it has.

And yeah, you music virused me, too. Off to my music library...

(Oh, and I know of no other way to spell 6.)

  35. AssetsRaspberryjebediehard on Jun 12, 2010 10:57 PM

[34] A you-know-what of #7 is, among other things, an English expression meaning "A fist".

  36. Avatar_profileOrangemprocyshyn on Jun 13, 2010 05:29 AM

I must be stupid....#5 has me totally stumped!

  37. AssetsSailboatrashawnsgrandma on Jun 13, 2010 07:34 AM

    [36] if you're still here, try Simon & Garfunkel's "Parsley, Sage, Rosemary & _ _ _ _ _". Now that's a earworm worth having! :)

  38. AssetsCarrotleftyleo on Jun 13, 2010 02:55 PM

definitely stuck on #4 (not 7)

  39. AssetsCarrotkroya on Jun 13, 2010 04:46 PM

If you're still stuck on #4, it may help to know that the theme word comes after the clue for this one, where on most of the other clues the theme word comes first.

  40. AssetsPancakesArnott (Tanga Admin) on Jun 13, 2010 06:29 PM

[7] I disagree, as that's not how the word is pronounced. I think clues should always favor being phonetic over being... uh... spelling-etic.

  41. Avatar_profileOrangeelihl6 on Jun 14, 2010 07:08 AM

So excited that I had nailed this one, but only to find out that something is not correct.

I am guessing it is #7, but from the comments, appears it should be literal, so what's in the forefront.

#EDIT# Nevermind, I had swapped two letters on the spice, so simple spelling snafu!

  42. AssetsGarlickc6201 on Jun 14, 2010 04:25 PM

Need help on #4 and #5.

  43. AssetsGarlickc6201 on Jun 14, 2010 04:33 PM

Got #5, didn't realize that the order and type of spices was deliberate. Still stuck on #4.

  44. AssetsGarlickc6201 on Jun 14, 2010 04:43 PM

    Got it finally.

  45. AssetsRocketariva on Jun 16, 2010 07:32 AM

When it didn't fit, I read post [1] and did the same thing.

  46. Avatar_profileApplerosgirl121184 on Jun 16, 2010 08:32 AM

Thanks [39]. That really helped me out. :)

  47. AssetsPearloveplayinggames on Jun 18, 2010 08:19 PM

Spelling on #6 is what got me. Try different ways....
