  3. AssetsEggsonjahi on Jun 04, 2010 07:07 PM

[1] I'm right there with you. While we're puzzling at it, though... like my garlic? :)

  4. AssetsBananamcmoe316 on Jun 04, 2010 07:08 PM

Two great solves today and then this one... I have some ideas but no real clue.

  5. AssetsPancakesjmcintyre on Jun 04, 2010 07:08 PM

Got hung up on an alternate spelling for #9. Really nice puzzle!

  6. AssetsRaspberryjayvil on Jun 04, 2010 07:09 PM

[3] nice garlic. I think it's keeping away my ability to solve this though.

  7. AssetsPancakesjmcintyre on Jun 04, 2010 07:10 PM

[1], [3] You may be slightly off track on the theme if the answer format isn't apparent.

  8. AssetsEggsonjahi on Jun 04, 2010 07:11 PM

Are you of the blood-thirsty variety, [6]? I had no idea! :)

[5] At least someone knows what to do. I tried just spelling what I saw but that only worked for 2 or 3 and then messed up crossings...

    [7] Obviously... :)

  9. AssetsPumpkinRickj4029 on Jun 04, 2010 07:11 PM

[7] Then how about some insight?!

[9] Well, there are two of a kind in each clue....

  12. Avatar_profileKiwiSilverSabre25 on Jun 04, 2010 07:13 PM

Nice! I loved this! It wasn't that difficult once I got to clue 3...

  13. AssetsPumpkinRickj4029 on Jun 04, 2010 07:14 PM

    [11] That much is obvious...

  14. AssetsCheeseburgersoccer_ref on Jun 04, 2010 07:15 PM

[13] But what do you CALL two of a kind ?

  15. AssetsRaspberryjayvil on Jun 04, 2010 07:18 PM

[11] was enough! but thanks for the continued prodding! My brain must have been paralyzed.

  16. AssetsEggendel3 on Jun 04, 2010 07:19 PM

[7] i think you're right, cuz still not fitting....

  18. AssetsPepperarecords on Jun 04, 2010 07:20 PM

    [11] Thank you!!!

  19. AssetsEggsonjahi on Jun 04, 2010 07:21 PM

Ahhh!! This puzzle is simply brilliant, chupper. It says when you create a hyper to not give too much away in your title. Your title was perfect even if it would have stumped me without a little nudge from soccer_ref (thanks, girl!).

[5] My spelling problem was on #6 but that's just because I guessed.

BTW, other folks, the fact that some of the double clues are spelled differently from each other doesn't matter. When you have two of a kind, you have a ...

  20. AssetsPepperarecords on Jun 04, 2010 07:27 PM

    [edit] ok, never mind!

  21. AssetsEgggst on Jun 04, 2010 07:26 PM

    [14] seems a little over-salty.
    [20] is waaay too much!

    IMO.

    Awesome puzzle, Chupper!

  22. AssetsBananamcmoe316 on Jun 04, 2010 07:27 PM

[14] Thank you. I wish I got the theme earlier then I would have made STU today. Now it will have to wait until Monday.

  23. AssetsEggForNoReasonHeresApu on Jun 04, 2010 07:32 PM

  24. AssetsEggendel3 on Jun 04, 2010 07:38 PM

OMG that was kinda tough, but outstanding Chupper!!!!!!

  25. AssetsPumpkinRickj4029 on Jun 04, 2010 07:43 PM

    Well, I certainly feel stupid!

However, after nearly 40 minutes, I was still 79th so I must be keeping good company.

  26. AssetsCarrotbamar on Jun 04, 2010 07:46 PM

  36. AssetsCarrotholdenbj on Jun 04, 2010 08:38 PM

Aha! Had an alternate spelling for number 13, but credit to Chuppers, the alternate spelling didn't cross correctly. My favorite Hyper in a good while!

  37. AssetsSailboatrashawnsgrandma on Jun 04, 2010 08:58 PM

    nevermind, got it

  41. AssetsPotatoDadmeister on Jun 05, 2010 04:39 AM

9 has me stumped. I might need more coffee.

  42. AssetsCarrotbamar on Jun 05, 2010 08:41 AM

Re #9: What might you call well known sentences such as these?

  43. Avatar_profileApplescatmann69 on Jun 05, 2010 09:22 AM

this one made my brain cry

  44. AssetsDuckieRamblingRich on Jun 05, 2010 11:13 AM

  45. AssetsPepperdajagr on Jun 05, 2010 12:34 PM

This would have been easier if only I were a Tanga Cadet.

  46. AssetsRaspberryjebediehard on Jun 05, 2010 05:59 PM

Nice one. Fun solve. The 2 "piers" did it for me.

  47. Avatar_profilePlummrmombo on Jun 07, 2010 04:56 PM

Seven days after joining I find out you can't check your answers on less than a complete puzzle! Now to go back and do all the ones I thought I had no clue about.

  48. AssetsPotatotvfamily on May 27, 2011 09:20 AM
