Is the Author not around?
any help with #6?
It was a sitcom about an inept fix it up guy and his family
[1] mine took, must be a spelling...lemme know what I can do...
I must have something spelled wrong - anybody wanna check?
Got it! Thank you - a few heartbeats too late - and that was the one I was worrying about spelling incorrectly. Sigh.
Man, only knew a few of those without having to look them up! Thank you, imdb!!
[3] t/y
Got all but #13
Got it that's a father in the first pic
I usually don't like to google my way through a hyper, but this one was so beautifully clued ! ... plus I actually knew a few.
Very nice Saturday morning enjoyment, thanks dmlafrance.
all, but #14?
(as a kid I watched the original broadcasts of all those older ones).

n.m. I didn't notice the 5th card - and I never watched THAT one.
I really like clue #11. Would have been a great cryptopix on its own!
[1] Sorry... I'm not home on Saturday mornings.
[10] & [12] Thanks!
Now why couldn't it have asked for the actors' names? I knew all but 2 of them without looking them up. Geesh!
help on #11 please. i have no idea.
Excellent excellent hypercross. This should have been a featured puzzle IMO.
Bravo to the author.
[12] Yes, several would have been wonderful cryptos on their own too.
[15] there is a tool in the middle of the picture of some related people (ignore that it is Tsar Nicholas and a bunch of Romanov's) ... or maybe it's "Romanovs Holiday" teehee
I can't figure ot #1 HELP anyone?
think back to the 70s, what made ron howard famous
[7] Absolutely!
[18] Ask Fonzie. :-)
Blah, google fest.
Great clues... especially 14... didn't mean to detract too much from the amount of googling that had to be done though.
Had to work for this one - I'm old enough to remember watching the old ones, but also old enough to forget the important parts - the answers! Liked the clues a lot, but needed the Google machine to solve. Thx for the puzzle.
for me it was a wikipedia fest, but the clues were really well done!
Toughie for me - someone who never watched TV in the first place; but nicely clued.
