    Excellent

  2. Avatar_profileGrapesCasualSax on Sep 16, 2010 07:05 PM

still working through, great idea though

  3. Tanga_profile_photoEggWhiteKnight85 on Sep 16, 2010 07:06 PM

This has been done before, BUT what makes this better is that I don't believe there was the equivalent of #19 in the other puzzles.

    Well done.

  4. HurdansmallGarlicdeg on Sep 16, 2010 07:07 PM

Excellent job! Just like the game!

  5. FileCheeseburgerQurqirishDragon on Sep 16, 2010 07:07 PM

[3] No, there wasn't, which makes this by far the best of this type I've seen!

  6. Nick_dress_blues_2Pancakesbitwisenot on Sep 16, 2010 07:08 PM

    Haha, I loved it!

  7. FileTomatobcgrote on Sep 16, 2010 07:08 PM

I love the one with Tim Curry! There's like 4 different endings to the movie, so funny!

  8. DharmaswanOnionskresovs on Sep 16, 2010 07:08 PM

    Great finish. Very fun puzzle.

  9. Media1Sailboatacop on Sep 16, 2010 07:09 PM

sweet! That brought back some very fond memories.

  10. Avatar_profileGrapesCasualSax on Sep 16, 2010 07:11 PM

    Got it! 70th, quite nice.

  11. Dumb02Garlicsammydb on Sep 16, 2010 07:13 PM

awesome, wish i was better at that game so i couldn't have figured out the last clue sooner!!

  12. FilePancakesjmcintyre on Sep 16, 2010 07:13 PM

Awesome! Murderer nearly got away before the bonus points ran out...

  13. FileGarlictwofalls on Sep 16, 2010 07:14 PM

Fun! Sorry, sonjahi, no D'oh nut for your collection this time <g> Very well clued. Thanks!

  14. UntitledPepperarecords on Sep 16, 2010 07:14 PM

    Great puzzle!

  15. Avatar_profileAppleflipboy103 on Sep 16, 2010 07:15 PM

I don't know how to figure out the accusation...

  16. BjDuckiedrlaura92 on Sep 16, 2010 07:16 PM

Great memories doing this one. Including the discovery of #19.

  17. Soccer_ballCheeseburgersoccer_ref on Sep 16, 2010 07:16 PM

[15] Use what hasn't already been clued.

  18. FileCarrotbaristabob on Sep 16, 2010 07:17 PM

    Well clued.

  19. 8grg3zbpu691mpv38q2nRaspberryjebediehard on Sep 16, 2010 07:18 PM

[5] Not only do we get the murderer, the room and the weapon, but reading from right to left near the middle of the grid, we also get the motive! Well done sonjahi. Very fun puzzle and nice clues.

  20. AnguseyeaCarrotbamar on Sep 16, 2010 07:31 PM

I am one letter short for the final clue. I've double checked everything and it all seems to fit except this #19.

Could someone perhaps TG me? It may be a UK/US translation problem.

NM...I just figured out where I was going wrong. I was in a room on the wrong floor.

  21. Goofy_kid_mugBananaGoonieguy on Sep 16, 2010 07:22 PM

Very fun! The real mystery is why did we ever think hairstyles like they had in picture #10 were ever cool? Mullets rock!

  22. FileGarlicsykottik on Sep 16, 2010 07:24 PM

can't believe I worked so hard, sitting here sweating, to come in 118th....sheesh

  23. Tanga_profile_photoEggWhiteKnight85 on Sep 16, 2010 07:25 PM

[20] You could be right. Think US version, not UK.

  24. Poirot_smallPotatoelmward on Sep 16, 2010 07:25 PM

    Terrific puzzle.

  25. Tanga_profile_photoEggWhiteKnight85 on Sep 16, 2010 07:27 PM

[19] Seriously? That would be very cool, but I'm not seeing it, if I understand what you're saying.

Right to left in the grid itself? On one specific horizontal line only?

  26. 100_1703Eggsonjahi on Sep 16, 2010 07:28 PM

[20] You can TG me with what you have for #19 if you want.

  27. FileTomatoMurdoctor on Sep 16, 2010 07:30 PM

[19] The killer was a kook? LOL

  28. Bp3Eggendel3 on Sep 16, 2010 07:31 PM

    [19] bsodamtl?

  29. AnguseyeaCarrotbamar on Sep 16, 2010 07:31 PM

I figured it out sonjahi. Thanks anyway.

  30. Avatar_profileRocketgiro on Sep 16, 2010 07:33 PM

    Loved it. Very nice.

  31. PhotoRocketdenisepinto on Sep 16, 2010 07:39 PM

Ah! That was a lot of fun :)

I did trip up for a bit at the end, but it turns out I'd reversed the last two words in #19! Silly mistake...

  32. 100_1703Eggsonjahi on Sep 16, 2010 07:41 PM

[31] You know, what's funny is that I did that too when I made it. I had it written down on my graphpaper one way and then I built the clue the other way! lol

  33. 8grg3zbpu691mpv38q2nRaspberryjebediehard on Sep 16, 2010 07:41 PM

[28] just a line above that... and not the whole line.

  34. 100_1703Eggsonjahi on Sep 16, 2010 07:42 PM

[33] Hah! I see it now. Cute. :)

  35. FileSailboatrashawnsgrandma on Sep 16, 2010 07:50 PM

sonjahi - you've outdone yourself and that is a feat in itself. very clever, very clever indeed - well done and thanx for the fun! :)

  36. Avatar_profilePlumpprattsj on Sep 16, 2010 07:54 PM

    Brilliant!
Tanga is almost 4 years old and No One has done this one before???!!!!!! Amazing.

  37. FilePepperhairy_lime on Sep 16, 2010 07:55 PM

[31] Me three. That was driving me crazy, checking all my spelling.

  38. Lfpw_dice_webPotatocln777 on Sep 16, 2010 08:07 PM

    Excellent hypercross. really enjoyed

  39. FilePancakesCWarrior on Sep 16, 2010 08:08 PM

The movie with Tim Curry (and a bunch of other familiar faces) is awesome. The multiple ending thing is a neat twist.

  40. Eg181208Potatotvfamily on Sep 16, 2010 08:27 PM

the 169th Tanga member to solve it. You earned 20 points for solving this.

Very, very nicely done!! Brilliant ending! Loved it!

  41. Freud_daliRadishDocJ on Sep 16, 2010 09:12 PM

    Love it!

  42. Avatar_profileStrawberryangelesque on Sep 17, 2010 02:47 AM

    Very much loved this one!

  43. Avatar_profilePeachcixelsyd on Sep 17, 2010 05:38 AM

By far one of my favorites...thanks, sonjahi!!

  44. 100_1703Eggsonjahi on Sep 17, 2010 05:44 AM

I'm glad everyone enjoyed this one. But I should give some credit where it is due. The idea was holdenbj's and after waiting several months for him to implement it, I secured permission to steal it.

And the grid is jebediehard's. My original grid was pretty darn good (not quite this tight, but good). But when he convinced me in the moderation process to change a couple of clues to the words that Americans would most recognize (I had been using wikipedia), it messed up the grid and I didn't have much free time. He had to take a couple of swipes at it - you should ask him about CANDLESICK... :)

So anyway, it was a group effort, I guess!

  45. Img_2628Grapesmconolly on Sep 17, 2010 07:22 AM

That was fantastic! It was one of my favorites growing up. Took me a second to jump get #19, I was looking for "clues" instead of remembering the rules of the game!

  46. Christopher_david_ryan_-_eyeGarlickc6201 on Sep 17, 2010 07:36 AM

I can't figure out what I have wrong. Made sure I used the US version.

Edit: Oh silly me, I had the order of elements wrong in the accusation :)

  47. Avatar_profileLemonrlnaylor on Sep 17, 2010 09:06 AM

"You are a freaking genius!! You solved this puzzle.

You solved this puzzle in 0 seconds and were the 304th Tanga member to solve it. You earned 20 points for solving this."

K so It took me a bit longer than 0 seconds but I will take the complement!

  48. Avatar_profileCherriespacky62 on Sep 17, 2010 09:08 AM

    do not have a clue

  49. 100_1703Eggsonjahi on Sep 17, 2010 09:13 AM

[45] It was one of my favorites too. I bought a new copy to play with my kids (and to double-check the answers to my clues) and discovered it has changed considerably. I want my kids to play the old version so now I need to track down an old copy... Maybe mom's garage...

    [48] TG sent.

  50. Avatar_profileWatermelondbutts on Sep 17, 2010 10:37 AM

    awesome!

  51. Avatar_profileAppleyam on Sep 17, 2010 11:13 AM

    nice!

  52. FilePlumSaltone on Sep 17, 2010 12:41 PM

[46], I did the same thing, thanks for helping me out.

  53. MyteamlogoRadishBonehead606 on Sep 17, 2010 03:19 PM

    That was fun. Thanks!

Yeah, had to find the US name of the weapon in #19.. ;)

  55. FileSailboatdagibbs on Sep 17, 2010 09:45 PM

    Cute.

  56. FilePepperpepperhead on Sep 18, 2010 12:33 PM

that was great what a good idea for a puzzle

  57. FileRaspberryA_Beaverhausen on Sep 20, 2010 09:49 PM

Awesome, awesome, awesome! Best idea for a puzzle yet! I loved it!

  58. 47555_1384926584353_1267650051_881632_8145236_nStrawberryMirthOfTheWicked on Oct 08, 2010 10:05 AM

Absolutely awesome! I loved this puzzle. (Especially how #19 ties everything together!) Perfect considering the game.

  59. Art_land_of_free_eagleEggplantJWillOH on Oct 26, 2011 02:43 PM

    That was soooo much fun!
