Hmmm, got all but [9]. Great puzzle!
Nice, got it with a P&S!
#9 was my last one too. This was a great puzzle. I loved the final clue. #10 finally gave me the theme. I loved the juxtaposition of #1 with #18 on the grid. Great job, Denise.
Got it. I got caught up on #21. I tried to use the brand of tool made by Black and Decker.
Smoking!
Stuck on #20. P&S#6
Well, you probably refer to them as something different. Once you have the theme, it all falls into place, three was a bit tricky and would have killed me without the theme, and here, the overall answer to nine is what we call those glowing insects.
[5] if you have the theme, say the two items in 20 out loud and then quicker until you get it (old Tanga puzzle trick) as far as 6 goes, think IPA,
Thanks [7] - that did it for #20, but solved just out of the bonus points at 101.
Edit - realized I was thinking of Ted instead of the proper Bundy. No wonder it took me so long! Oops.
Funny note (not intended as salt) on #6... When I typed it in, I hit the letter to the left of the correct 3rd letter and got a real word that sort of relates to the picture. It struck me as funny anyway...
[9] Ehh... a minor chuckle. :-)
Nice puzzle. I was en fuego - getting answers as fast as I could type them in.
Wow, the theme really does put it all together. Too bad I got all the clues without the theme so it really made the final clue the toughest... Then of course, I figured out the theme and it was obvious. Great puzzle!
I solved it, but I have no idea what #15 is referring to-- have never heard that word/expression.
Extremely salty!!! Keep reading at your own risk!!!
For #20, the person is not what British politicians Balls or Miliband would be called. Think former US VP instead. Also, the second object is the same word as #2. It's not a specific muscle.
Very nicely done. I liked it!
Didn't know the girl in #17 and had to guess but thought #6 & #9 were clever.
no clue on #9... any salt out there?
[16] Ditto... late night here, coming at this late... any salt?
[16] [17] stumped me too... then a little buzzzz er in my brain went off and I got it... [6] made it click for me...
[18] Thanks!
Very nice, thanks :)
Nice puzzle. #6 was the only one that caused me any trouble, but I got it after filling in the rest :)
Great job, denisepinto. Even #21 was cute.
Anyone have a little salt on #5 and #3? It would be a big help. Thanks!
the 299th Tanga member to solve it. You earned 20 points for solving this.
I was really surprised that I solved each clue! I was expecting more tricks that I didn't get! Fun after all!
I've got the theme and all of the clues but #6, any salt? As for [23] #3: what's the boy wearing? #5 think generally not specifically.
Edit: I finally got it, only took 3 hours... I was getting stuck on "beer" but it doesn't help that I've never heard the phrase or term before. 327th and 20 pts for me!
#9 It's not zippers, it's not jeans. What would be the word after "button"?
#6 it's not lager
Thanks!
#9 made me laff when i realized what it was
I didn't get the theme until I was answered the last hint. Good grief.
