    9th!

  2. Bp3Eggendel3 on Nov 13, 2010 08:05 AM

    Stuck on 2, 3, 9, and 12---maybe more...

  3. FileEggjohninc on Nov 13, 2010 08:10 AM

    Don't overlook 3. 9 is magnified a bit. 12 is a cartoon.

    2?

  4. Bp3Eggendel3 on Nov 13, 2010 08:14 AM

    [3]..oops...missing 2 too, sorry...

[3]...great 3 salt!!!...still no joy on the others...

  5. FileTomatoMurdoctor on Nov 13, 2010 08:20 AM

[2] #9 got me stuck for a minute, until I realized that #4 is not "denim".

  6. FileTomatoMurdoctor on Nov 13, 2010 08:23 AM

[2][3] #2 is the last one I got... and only got it from seeing the other letters in the grid. The picture is a VERY poor representation... considering how many pictures there must be to choose from.

... and it's almost timely (though if you ask the malls, it's practically here already)...

(The same goes for #3... though it's timeliness is a few months off...)

  7. Bp3Eggendel3 on Nov 13, 2010 08:23 AM

[5]...thanks that did it for me!
    edit--[6], agree....

  8. FractalTomatodduensing on Nov 13, 2010 08:26 AM

#2 was taken at night....it is supposed to be green. (and seasonal)

(poor, poor picture..... to me it looked like some kind of fabric.)

  9. 07310099PancakesLakeLivin on Nov 13, 2010 08:33 AM

I appreciate the job the mods do, but someone slipped up in letting the picture for #2 through. That made it an unfair puzzle, imho.

  10. AnguseyeaCarrotbamar on Nov 13, 2010 08:35 AM

#2 would have been impossible without salt from [6]. It looks nothing like it at all.

  11. 100_1703Eggsonjahi on Nov 13, 2010 04:48 PM

Oh, good Lord - thank you! Actually, I guess the thanks go to Murdoctor. I had the same problem as [5] and I never, ever, ever would have gotten #2 without the salt. Definitely could have used a better pic.

But the rest of the puzzle was great - I got the rest without salt. Had to use the crossings for #3. EDIT: I lied. I needed the salt that told me #4 wasn't denim too.

  12. FilePancakestempus42 on Nov 13, 2010 09:01 AM

    [10] agree x2

  13. Avatar_profilePeachbinghamjd on Nov 13, 2010 09:06 AM

#2 pop right out to me probably because i live so close to DC. but #3 is killing

  14. Christopher_david_ryan_-_eyeGarlickc6201 on Nov 13, 2010 09:15 AM

[5] I did the same thing!

I don't know why you guys had trouble with #2. I didn't even need to think about it. Does it appear really dark to you or something? It's not really a version you'd have in your home. More like a large outdoors version you'd find in a town square.

  15. FileCheeseburgerErich on Nov 13, 2010 09:17 AM

[13] If the salt in [3] is not enough, then all I can say is "good luck."

  16. KittylolxRocketjohanna on Nov 13, 2010 09:18 AM

Thank you [8] I had tried every four letter word I could think of but never even considered that. And salt from [3] was wonderful.

  17. Christopher_david_ryan_-_eyeGarlickc6201 on Nov 13, 2010 09:17 AM

[13] I only got #3 because of the crossing. It's super magnified.

  18. Avatar_profilePeachbinghamjd on Nov 13, 2010 09:36 AM

35th. Well i pieced together #3. and actually found the exact image on google. Looking back on salt from [3], i still dont get it. Thanks!

  19. MarkerryanCarrotryanker on Nov 13, 2010 11:13 AM

I got #2 from [6] alone. Even now that I know the answer, the pic STILL doesn't look like an example of the word. :-/

  20. FileEggmlevenson on Nov 13, 2010 01:21 PM

    Salt for #7 please.

NM just got it with an AHA!!!

  21. FilePepperclarencebyer on Nov 13, 2010 02:29 PM

I agree with everyone about pic for #2. I thought it was either fabric or some weird representation of outer space! Guess we need a challenge on every puzzle and that was it. Nice clues otherwise. :)

  22. ErwinPepperTangaAl on Nov 13, 2010 07:12 PM

Sorry about pic #2, guys! This was my first published hyper. [21], I see what you mean about it looking like fabric. That's what it looks like to me now, and I found the pic! : )

I'll be more discerning in the future.

  23. Avatar_profileStrawberryemeraldmist on Nov 13, 2010 08:21 PM

Everything was pretty easy except #2. [6] gave great salt for it, thanks!

    TangaAl, good job!

  24. Avatar_profileGrapeswookiemasterrace on Nov 13, 2010 09:07 PM

#2 took me forever. [6] had great salt that helped me get it though.

  25. Egyptian_2Garlicweisspferd on Nov 13, 2010 09:54 PM

Thanks johninc [3], I now have that song stuck in my head! But I didn't get clue #3 until I read Erich's comment [15]. At first, I thought you were being mean and then the Aha hit me!

  26. FileBananapeoriapat on Nov 14, 2010 08:06 AM

#3 had me stuck, but i got lucky

  27. FileAppleqwertyca on Nov 14, 2010 10:37 PM

Maybe Günter can help you with #9.

  28. Avatar_profileBananabhodges on Nov 15, 2010 11:24 AM

    Bah. Post and solve... nice.

  29. Cutie_jillianPeppersuzique on Nov 15, 2010 07:29 PM

Had no problem at all with #2. Needed the "not denim" salt to get #9. Fun puzzle. Sorry I was out of town during the release.

  30. Eg181208Potatotvfamily on Nov 16, 2010 12:43 PM

the 182nd Tanga member to solve it. You earned 5 points for solving this.

Had problems with #4 & #9, but it finally clicked. Thanks to TangaAl.
