Thank you CWarrior for a quality hypercross! Fantastic puzzle! Beautifully executed.
FUN FUN FUN
Very nice!! #2 was my favorite :)
Solved by identifying the bottom right....no idea what the quotes mean
[3] With answers in hand, re-read the quotes....look closely.
Wow -- never heard of #5. Love when the puzzles are educational too.
Wow, some of those are really big stretches... I'm guessing your native language is not the same as mine, cwarrior....
Very nice puzzle and great fun to try and do without looking up the clues for answers.
Very cool Hyper!
BTW, ...a crow, a shaman and a balloon? I can't wait to hear the punchline of that joke. :-)
This was more of a "proof of concept" puzzle ... not quite ready for prime time, but I thought the idea had merit. It was fun playing with it, but it was hard to come up with enough clues to make a decent hypercross of it. Whether it hit or miss is for others to judge.
Hope you enjoyed it.
[9] Fun puzzle ... thanks!
I agree with others that it was fun to try to get the answers from the quotes. For that reason, I'm actually glad it was not featured, otherwise I would have been tempted to solve it quickly instead of enjoyably.
#11 - Should be "Yahtzee."
Loved it!
Answers aren't accepting - anyone I can TG?
[13] Sure.
Would have been cool to have to identify the one in the title as well. Fun one.
Wow! That was really fun. I agree with [10] - the unfeatured status kept me from just pulling up a flag list to solve it quickly. That speaks poorly for my self-control since the point should be to enjoy the puzzles, not garner meaningless points. But there it is. It was definitely better to try to puzzle them out from the quotes.
#3 gave me the theme although made me erroneously think I was after spelling. That meant #7 confused me because I recognized the flag and wondered why you had misspelled it. Then #9 - I also recognized the flag - made me rethink to pronunciation, which was much harder than spelling! I was quite grateful for the ones where crossings gave me the starting letter, although I shamefully had to look up #6 by flag. #5 had to be looked up too but only for spelling - I had found it in the sentence fine.
Very nice job, CWarrior!
Nice. Had to look up #5, otherwise got all from the quote clues.
that was a fun one
Very clever puzzle....that number 5 was hard.
