[4] And all this time I've been thinking it's a peach!
[7] [I got the theme, or perhaps I'd call it a commonality, but only when I was trying to figure it out in order to get the last clue.
I'd say there isn't an apricot at all, but we don't know for sure what the 500,000+ points fruits are (Philana will know what the 500,000 one is soon enough I'd bet)
[3][6] it's an autumn theme - like Thanksgiving, corn (maize - you know from the natives of this land that we call America), fall-colored leaves, pumpkins. (FYI: this is NO salt at all.)
& for those of y'all who still don't get the theme, whether you've completely solved it or not - read the title then stand back! :)
Thanx bargellos for a really cute idea!
Loved the puzzle and especially loved seeing a photo in clue 6 of my pet Smokey! I tried to show this to him, but he really was only interested in jabbing at the cursor. What a delightful surprise, Bargellos! xxoo
Can it be solved even if you don't know the city? (clue #2) I have it all but that one...and can't seem to figure out how to find it with google, either. I'm lost.
LOVED this...especially the combination of the 2 clues! [3], [6] About the cat, because of the hat, I was thinking of Sabrina's cat and trying to find it's name and it didn't work...HAHA
I can't seem to type in or click any box past the third letter in #6. Anyone else?? I can type the first three letters of my answer, but not the last three. In case it was meant to be that way, I click Submit, but was told I had it wrong.
[36] There should be only 3 boxes highlighted in yellow for #6. If you click on #7, you should see other boxes highlighted in yellow, with a slight overlap of the answer to #6. Hypercross answers can overlap.
[37] Really? Ok, then I don't understand what I have wrong. I have the three-letter answer but the submit still tells me I am wrong. I will keep looking ... Thanks
Wow, easy one tonight!
Nicely done!
I'm not sure why #6 had a pilgrim's hat on...
First time within the 100 (not usually on at 7) AND it got me my apricot.
88th, guess I should have done this before the OWW since it was so easy.
I didn't even notice the theme and the word the placement spells out until I was done!
[3] That got me, too.
I don't understand the theme ... at all.
(I'm not asking for salt; I solved the puzzle)
[4] Congrats on the new fruit!
[3] If that's the only thing you don't get about this puzzle, then you're way ahead of me!
[4] And all this time I've been thinking it's a peach!
[7] [I got the theme, or perhaps I'd call it a commonality, but only when I was trying to figure it out in order to get the last clue.
[7] I didn't at first either. But it is there and kind of clever now that I see it! :)
bargellos, you brought another fun one! Thanks!
Fun and quick!
[4] Congrats on the new fruit.
[11] Wait, you mean it's not a nectarine!? ;-P
Apparently my comment was too salty, sorry!
[11] It could just as easily be a peach, apricot was just the first fruit that came to mind.
[8][14] Thanks!
[11], [16]: Officially, it is a peach (see the tanga fruit page)

Edit: And oh yeah ... congrats on that peach!

[3] [6] I wanted to use a photo of that particular animal and it's the only photo I had. :)
Very well clued and a quick solve. Too bad I wasn't able to be here on time tonight!

[22] You've already got the answer.
[22] In addition to [23], think more generally.
I cannot figure out clue #1 or clue #10
EDIT: got clue 10, still stuck on 1... salt?
EDIT: Turns out I was over thinking #1. Got it! Nice one!!

They are what they are...don't overthink 'em.
You go girl!! liked the theme, clever
LOVED this...especially the combination of the 2 clues! [3], [6] About the cat, because of the hat, I was thinking of Sabrina's cat and trying to find it's name and it didn't work...HAHA
Nice puzzle, #10 got me for a little while, just had to think about it, salt: it's more obvious than you think.
Fun puzzle.
i'd never even heard of Clue #2 before... (it took a second before the entire theme went off like a lightbulb..)
[32] I never heard of the answer to #7 before. :)
You solved this puzzle in 0 seconds and were the 480th Tanga member to solve it. You earned 20 points for solving this.
Stuck on #10 hmm... salt?
got #10, as the others posted, was overthinking it :)

[36] #6 has only 3 letters for the answer. keep going to the next clue.

Okay - got it .... Thanks again!
