Yet another hypercross that took me an awfully short amount of time to do. Kudos for using the same answers multiple times, something I've been thinking of doing just to see what it would be like. The handwriting one was the cleverest, I thought. And I think you could expect many people to recognize the bottom across without the built-in salt. And like others, I'm totally missing how the top across makes any sense, but since there's only one word that could fit the theme, it wasn't a big deal.
i'm curious-for all the recent puzzles, i've had to submit my answer twice before its accepted. is this intentional? is it a trick!? =P I can't remember if i saw this answered here before. thanks!
[7] - after you get that message, click the submit button again to get credit for the solution. Took me a month to figure that out. Tanga really needs to mention that somewhere on the hypercross page.

You don't need to click twice to get credit for solving the puzzle, at least the couple of times I tested that theory, I was credited with the points immediately upon solving.
[7][16][18][20] You actually do not have to click the "Check answers" link twice. You will get credit for the points just after one click... you just won't get any confirmation.
Er... as a resident of the clue for the first across, I'm pretty sure that's wrong.
[1] Not a resident, but I thought it was wrong as well. But, I got it because that's what fit.
Unless there's an arrow missing or something.
[1][2] I updated the image to be a little closer to what I was aiming at.
Pure guesswork got me home. The airlines were a total mystery to me. Not overly memorable.
I thought the first across was questionable as well until someone told me there was a certain part of the picture it was referring to.
Nice hypercross, but I was expecting my favorite Alfred Hitchcock movie to be one of the clues.
Again, they're not going to save my answer.

Salt for the top across:
---- ---
(or at least, that's what made the word obvious, even without the leading letter.)
... or just Google it sans sans.
[9] I could also have clued it with a backpack company...
I keep refreshing, but it is hit-n-miss as to whether I am ever given my stats for solving since I started visiting this site. What is up with that?
[12] Stats only show up for One Word Wonders and One Word Warm-ups.
1st Down is a hard movie to look up to.
Mere guess and check would have worked for this one. As our kiwi friend says, not overly memorable. :-(

The handwriting one was pretty good. I originally thought it was Santa checking his list, which would have led me to the wrong answer.

Thanks -- after dealing with the hard puzzle today, this was a pleasant change of pace.
[18] "Took me a month to figure that out."
You mean you're not the type to click it again if it didn't work the first time? I thought everybody did that.... :)
Penguins threw me off a bit. Doh! I guess haven't seen enough penguin-related movies *rolls eyes*

[6] I was also expecting a pic of a plane chasing a guy.
You don't actually have to submit a second time (at least I don't do it any more). The error appears to be a big lie.
