    A lovely tribute to Philana!

    No banana? LOL

At least I only had to reference one page to find them all... though you would've been my carrot had the answers in order.

[3] well we peach-kiwis can't compete with the likes of eggs

For some reason, I got done with #23 and thought I was done. When it said I wasn't right, I got really irritated. As I looked for my misspelling, I happened to scroll enough to see an empty box. Silly me.

This did get me to thinking that maybe Tanga Regluar would have been a better description for the plum... :)

    Nice!

[6] Ah, for PRUNE would be even better :)

[9] Just viewing the tributee's profile works perfectly well.

Only one that bothered me was #5. The picture does not match the description in the list, although I was able to figure out what was intended after scrolling through the list about 4 times thinking I must have missed it.

I even knew a handful of these without looking. :-)

[8] If we can use cherries for the first rank, why not prunes for regular?

  13. Avatar_profileStrawberryparagonalley on Jan 15, 2011 08:08 PM

[11] seconded. The picture in clue #5 is that of a torte...

  14. Oregon_ducksKiwiChrystyA on Jan 15, 2011 09:23 PM

This apprentice enjoyed the puzzle, but couldn't believe the how many points are needed to climb up the ranks! Definitely bowing down to the tributee. Amazing.

[11]I didn't know what #5 was either. I thought it was something else. I kept looking and thought it must be that. Other than that great puzzle Philana! Had fun doing this. [13]It's not a torte.

God, I hate puzzles like this.

  17. Img_0189Egggst on Jan 15, 2011 10:34 PM

WAA, you really nailed the pictures; great attention to detail!

  18. Daisy_bellis_perennisAcejargonista on Jan 16, 2011 12:48 PM

I needed some reference help. But it was a super cute puzzle.

  19. ManPlumGrimmy on Jan 17, 2011 06:36 AM

Great puzzle. Only needed a little "Fountian-Mountian-Hairy-Guy".

  20. KittylolxRocketjohanna on Jan 25, 2011 05:05 PM

#5 sure doesn't look like pancakes to me. More like a four layer cake.

  21. FileCarrotmannyrain on Feb 05, 2011 11:16 AM

Why does this puzzle hate me?
Spell checked everything, cross-referenced, and still getting the Sorry-that is not correct message.
    Argh!

  22. Sun-moon-purPlumskutche on Feb 10, 2011 07:14 AM

Made me realize just how very far I have to go... and i was excited about just getting my peach!
