I know all of them but #13....what is that cake/bon bon thing???????
[2], I didn't know what that was, either. But Google led me to a familiar Christmas term. Hint: it's not Jell-O or Figgy (blank).
[3] got it! What a good boy am I ! I didn't have a CLUE until the PROFESSOR gave me the salt. ;)
I think I have all of them but it is not taking (assuming that this odd solve method is correct). Anyone care to check my answers?
[5] I also cannot get them to take, even after double checking my spellings in word with the missing letters included - anyone I can TG?
Weird how "figgy ____" isn't the answer for #13 even though the picture comes from an article about it! Got the "correct" answer from the first part of [4]'s salt, thanks!
[5] [6] You can t-gram me if you still need help.
I've never heard #13 called figgy except in the Christmas song. It's always known by another fruit these days in Commonwealth countries.
[7] - thanks for your offer. I finally finished! I had #5 incorrect (I think b/c I was just talking to someone about Antarctica so was thinking wrong direction!)
I think some of these should be real words, especially 6, 10 and 13. (And of course 11 is a very common word in Spanish.)
[9] Oh, I was so wishing that your mistake would be mine but I've got the right direction on that one. All my crossings are right but it still isn't right. Well, I sent [7] a TG... maybe I'll here from them soon.
[11] My problem was #3; it is not what they are doing but who they are.
[12] Hah! I was about to post that comment myself. Thanks for the TG help, kc. The ambiguity in both the action and the people fitting the spaces without crossings to help you sort it out was really too bad. Made it virtually impossible for someone to find out what was wrong without help.
"...you were the 143rd Tanga member to solve it."
That's my lowest (best) number yet. Yay!
Cute puzzle, nicely done!
