  2. 50s_womanCarrotpennyb9 on Apr 17, 2011 07:07 PM

Argh! Got the last clue as soon as I saw it, but still can't get #1.

    Duh - how easy - post & solve. [3] - Thanks!

  3. FileCheeseburgerQurqirishDragon on Apr 17, 2011 07:06 PM

    [2] you don't want "agent J"

  4. FileTomatoRagspur on Apr 17, 2011 07:06 PM

    Cute!

  5. Daisy_bellis_perennisAcejargonista on Apr 17, 2011 07:07 PM

How cute was this puzzle?!? I must be getting old because I got stuck on #5!

  6. MarkerryanCarrotryanker on Apr 17, 2011 07:07 PM

[1] Indeed, #5 took a second or two. ...but it was worth it.

  7. Dsc00764Potatosphenderson2008 on Apr 17, 2011 07:12 PM

Typos kept me out of top 100....got 102.

  8. FilePlumTracer on Apr 17, 2011 07:13 PM

I am really missing something major

  9. TangaCarrotFalala on Apr 17, 2011 07:16 PM

Edit - P&S for #8. Feel like I should watch Bart Simpson in action.

  10. Clematis_around_tree_cropped_12-22-2006-011Rocketkathy155 on Apr 17, 2011 07:15 PM

Hmm I think I have them all but it's not taking... Only one I question is #1 - any salt?

  11. FileCarrotmannyrain on Apr 17, 2011 07:16 PM

    Arrrgghhh!!!! Stuck on #13
    driving me crazy!

  12. Eg181208Potatotvfamily on Apr 17, 2011 07:17 PM

the 118th Tanga member to solve it. Fun, but it took two starts to get it right.

  13. FileCarrotmannyrain on Apr 17, 2011 07:19 PM

    [10] Only the right guy.

  14. Clematis_around_tree_cropped_12-22-2006-011Rocketkathy155 on Apr 17, 2011 07:21 PM

  15. Avatar_profileStrawberryfajacko on Apr 17, 2011 07:28 PM

    #5 killing me
    nice

  16. FilePlumTracer on Apr 17, 2011 07:30 PM

could use salt on general approach......i know it's simply looking me in the face but.......

  17. FileCarrotmmene on Apr 17, 2011 07:38 PM

still stuck with #1 and #13, even after all the salt for #1

Edit: NM, I got them. I thought #1 was a bit different but it really wasn't too difficult from the clue.

  18. SlideuleSailboatDaSaintFan on Apr 17, 2011 07:35 PM

*groans at #5...* Funny , but groan worthy on the pun :)

  19. FileRocketjss31 on Apr 17, 2011 07:40 PM

13 has me stumped...I know it will be clever; the rest of the puzzle is.
    Got it! Great puzzle

  20. FileGarlicdharmaRN on Apr 17, 2011 07:41 PM

on clue 13.... think of politcal pundits trying to predict a tight race........

  21. ConcentrateStrawberrykatopong on Apr 17, 2011 07:41 PM

This was one of the most enjoyable puzzles I've done in a while!

  22. Brownie_sundaeGarlicbrownie1 on Apr 17, 2011 07:42 PM

Fun puzzle. Had trouble on #5 at first.

[1] Figures #5 would make you laugh.

  23. Img_0886Appletinmanchris on Apr 17, 2011 07:42 PM

Loved this puzzle! Thanks for making yet another good one Jeb.

    For #1,*doin' my jig*
Eight fifty I.S. if you need a lift
Who's the kid in the drop
    _____________
Living that life some consider a myth
Rock from south street to one two fifth

  24. Avatar_profileApplearenee123 on Apr 17, 2011 08:12 PM

well....I am clue less on this one....not even sure where to start.........

  25. FileEggplantqzhdad on Apr 17, 2011 08:33 PM

    3 is not hello kitty!

  26. 9018_1237595932838_1017425892_754933_3355319_nKiwimaxitem on Apr 17, 2011 08:38 PM

ha... salt for #13.. it's not a Cryptopix
One side helps to describe the other

  27. Blue_hillsGrapesTTICTANG on Apr 17, 2011 10:38 PM

late but can't get #13 - have the rest any salt?

  28. FileRocketlaurelg1 on Apr 18, 2011 04:04 AM

[24] It's not so much the noise the clue makes, but the thing you do with it... it kind of falls into place when you get that word...

  29. AnguseyeaCarrotbamar on Apr 18, 2011 04:45 AM

I have never heard of #1. Initially I thought it was mail****

  30. KittylolxRocketjohanna on Apr 18, 2011 08:05 AM

Are #10 and #3 the sound they make or am I on the wrong track completely? They fit with each other but they both might be wrong.

  31. SlyfaceStrawberryslycreations on Apr 18, 2011 09:15 AM

Finally solved it. #7 was the toughest one for me. Didn't notice the other critters in the back, so I was limiting myself to singular nouns.

  32. FilePlumbumpducks on Apr 18, 2011 10:14 AM

It took me until #12 to get the theme.

[30] it's not the sound that they make, in fact #3 is more closely related to #5 than #10

  33. TinkBananalfoley on Apr 18, 2011 10:37 AM

I have all but #2. Any salt?

  34. KittylolxRocketjohanna on Apr 18, 2011 12:56 PM

Thanks [32] actually staring at #3 and #6 together finally did it for me. #5 had me stumped until using a Scrabble word builder with two letters of five. Luckily didn't have to go far down the alphabet before the big Groan.

  35. FilePotatodedavis on Apr 18, 2011 06:55 PM

Got answers that fit, which I think are correct, but won't take. Boo hiss.

    Edit: nvm, stealthy typo

  36. 100_1703Eggsonjahi on Apr 18, 2011 06:59 PM

Very nice, jeb! I liked #8 and then burst out laughing when #5 popped up for me in OneLook.

Had to use OneLook for the last one too... I thought both sides of the clue were all part of one big clue - not two different ways to say the same thing.

  37. FileBananaryan8720 on Apr 18, 2011 07:43 PM

[33] Think military or maybe a horse race. Its a particular type of horn,

  38. NewyorkerdogStrawberrykm on Apr 18, 2011 09:57 PM

Can I give someone my answers to see where I went wrong?

  39. NewyorkerdogStrawberrykm on Apr 18, 2011 10:06 PM

    nm got it.

  40. Img_41791111croppedGrapesgenericwit on Apr 19, 2011 12:45 AM

Oh my God. Number five took forever until I looked at onelook. And it made me facepalm. For anyone that's stuck... maybe it'll help if you think of possible words in pirate-speak. *shrugs*

  41. Avatar_profileStrawberrygranuaile on Apr 19, 2011 05:44 AM

ok, i give up. I can't figure out the answer to #1.

  42. Avatar_profileStrawberrygranuaile on Apr 19, 2011 05:50 AM

    nm, duh to me :P

  43. UntitledPotatoBenditlikebaker on Apr 19, 2011 06:04 AM

I can't get 2 for the life of me. Or 13 but 2 is making me angry, Salt anyone??

  44. KittylolxRocketjohanna on Apr 19, 2011 09:39 AM

The phrase in #2 is not really that common. Think military TAPS or wake up.

  45. UntitledPotatoBenditlikebaker on Apr 19, 2011 11:11 AM

I got 2 and I thought I had 13 but it's not working. sigh. Too bad they don't show the answers for these later

  46. Dumb02Garlicsammydb on Apr 19, 2011 03:40 PM

    ha ha #5.

  47. FilePlumTracer on Apr 19, 2011 03:59 PM

Okay once I was put on the right track....#' 5 jacked me up but was appropriate and although I made it quickly through 13 it def could have used a little more clarity in what the picture represented...HARD PUZZLE lol

I have all but #1, any help?

  49. CannibalcupcakeGrapesTygress on Apr 25, 2011 12:48 PM

[20] Thank you. You helped me solve #13. :) Great puzzle!

And for #1 - it's the actor, not the character.
