Jul 09, 2011 Hypercross Puzzle

Wow... I didn't get the theme until I was more than halfway through. It was kinda like taking a tiny bite of the longest river in Egypt.

[1] My husband got it on clue #3 and we had a blast with it.

Very, very nice btmeyers! What a fun puzzle and a clever idea!

[2] Well, I think clue #3 was a bit of a stretch... that's not the term I would have used for what's pictured. And I had a different word for #1 at first (I had a different third letter)... so I wasn't sure of what was going on until I completed #5-#8.

After that, I wasn't limping anymore from stepping in that crater.

[6] If you've solved it and still don't have the theme, get rid of the big picture clue and look at your list.

#1 got me for a bit. I thought it was a trinket, which messed up #9.

[9] I did the same. And still I just don't see the theme... yet.

Edit - Aha. Had to stare at the list of answers then - slap!

Very clever puzzle....the theme sure makes it easier to solve #3.....I was putting in something larger.

Am I the only person who doesn't know # 6?

Totally fun. Theme was clear after solving clues #3 and #4.

Two days later, and I grabbed the 100th spot. Excellent puzzle, btmeyers. This deserved to be Featured!

I thought this would have been a cool feature, too. Two thumbs up!
