46,5, and 3 today. Not a bad showing if I say so myself!

This was cool! Took me a minute to notice the significance of the blue bars but didn't really need them much either. (Although the puzzle is cleaner with them).

Now back to trying to figure out how tanning equipment (mystic meter???) factors into that OWW...

  11. FileCarrotmmene on Aug 02, 2011 07:12 PM

I am amazed at the people getting this so easily. I still don't know where to start.

  12. AnguseyeaCarrotbamar on Aug 02, 2011 07:13 PM

That took a while for the penny to drop for me but great fun finding the answers once I did.

I recommend saying possible words out loud to yourself.

  13. AnguseyeaCarrotbamar on Aug 02, 2011 07:13 PM

    [11] Read the title carefully

  14. BjDuckiedrlaura92 on Aug 02, 2011 07:14 PM

[11] Always start by analyzing the title.

  15. 100_1703Eggsonjahi on Aug 02, 2011 07:15 PM

[11] Start where you always start: with number one.

    Frakking Dirty Dancing.

  17. AnguseyeaCarrotbamar on Aug 02, 2011 07:20 PM

Oh cute...I just noticed a little aha thing about this puzzle I hadn't noticed while solving it.

  18. 100_1703Eggsonjahi on Aug 02, 2011 07:21 PM

[16] I take it you are not a woman in her mid-thirties to early forties. Otherwise, that movie would make you swoon... lol

  19. Untitled-1PumpkinAdamMcD on Aug 02, 2011 07:25 PM

[18] Could you say that in solving this puzzle, you (unlike [16]) had the time of your life, and that you own it all to me?

  20. Soccer_ballCheeseburgersoccer_ref on Aug 02, 2011 07:28 PM

[8] I'll check them. Send me a TG.

  21. 100_1703Eggsonjahi on Aug 02, 2011 07:34 PM

    [19] Well, of course. ;)

I did wonder if they were all going to be clued with that picture after the thumbnail and first two clues.

  22. Clematis_around_tree_cropped_12-22-2006-011Rocketkathy155 on Aug 02, 2011 07:35 PM

Thanks [20] BUT, as I was typing the list to send to you I realized I'd spelled #9 wrong -- I'd even looked the incorrectly spelled worked up in google and it appeared to be a good word...NOT!!! So, posted/Solved. thanks

  23. FileCarrotmmene on Aug 02, 2011 07:45 PM

Now I think I have all the answers but it is not taking. Anyone care to check mine?

Edit: never mind, stupid spelling mistake.

  24. FileDuckiePatanga on Aug 02, 2011 08:01 PM

It took me a while to get the theme, but it was rewarding once that clicked. Thanks.

Having a hard time getting #3. Google hates me too :(.

Edit: Sometimes guessing works. Just not sure how I was supposed to come by it :).

  27. 100_1703Eggsonjahi on Aug 03, 2011 01:29 PM

[26] The four letters at the end of your answer are a homonym for the three letter term used for the mathematical operation represented by sigma.

  33. 50s_womanCarrotpennyb9 on Aug 03, 2011 08:03 PM

Tried this Tuesday - totally clueless! (So to speak). Came back tonight, and it clicked immediately (duh!). What a fun puzzle - thanks!

  34. UturnPotatoSmithyP on Aug 04, 2011 08:07 AM

I abated the missing answers on all but #8 fairly quickly, but that last one had me stumped for awhile.

  35. FileRocketyvensong on May 14, 2012 11:47 PM

This was easy except for #8. Thanks to [34] I adjusted my thinking and found the answer.
