This was cool! Took me a minute to notice the significance of the blue bars but didn't really need them much either. (Although the puzzle is cleaner with them).

Now back to trying to figure out how tanning equipment (mystic meter???) factors into that OWW...

I am amazed at the people getting this so easily. I still don't know where to start.

That took a while for the penny to drop for me but great fun finding the answers once I did.

I recommend saying possible words out loud to yourself.

Edit: Sometimes guessing works. Just not sure how I was supposed to come by it :).

Tried this Tuesday - totally clueless! (So to speak). Came back tonight, and it clicked immediately (duh!). What a fun puzzle - thanks!

I abated the missing answers on all but #8 fairly quickly, but that last one had me stumped for awhile.

This was easy except for #8. Thanks to [34] I adjusted my thinking and found the answer.
