Yay on #11 - Go Hawks!
hmm.. not taking?
edit: nvm, misspelled 2...
I love the aha! You've done it again, sammy. Nice hyper!
Arggh! No. 11 is stumping me!
easy enough but I have the same problem [2]. It all fits, is something spelled incorrectly in the puzzle?? (No offence to the author, just trying to figure out why...)
Stuck on 11 too.... ???
yep, #11 is giving me trouble too!
I don't know what #11 is!
Think I have them all, but can't get it to take. May I TG my answers to someone?
EDIT: Nevermind. Spelled #2 wrong as well. Oops.
I also don't know #11... Is it something peculiar to Iowa or a general term?
Can someone throw me some salt on #2
Nevermind, post and solve!
[2] me too. Not too tough, all fit, all worked, not correct
[11] If you know #11, I'll trade you. :)
I'll look over answers for people if they want.
I might suggest making sure you've #2 right, as it's not uncommon for people to spell it wrong
As for #11, it is not specific to Iowa.
stuck on #2
nvm: got it
I thought #11 had something to do with U of Iowa and also thought that the clue was hinting about changing one young man into the other. But, I finally realized it's about their relationship.
[11] If my answer is correct (still can't get number 11) think noun, not verb.
Now I feel silly... I was going with the short form of #11. It's really a pretty easy clue...
[18] Me, too. I forgot about the second double....and I'm a good speller :-)
Could substitute your favorite college in #11 and it would still work.
I really liked this puzzle. My brain was really working fuzzy tonight on all the puzzles, and I had a mental breakdown on figuring one of these clues out, and a really dumb spelling mistake on another.
#11 I should have known this. *hit myself in the head*
I didn't know 11 until I got the first letter.
I need 11 TG anyone?
Thanks [16] for the salt !!! Got it !!!
Until your salt, I thought they were one guy dressed differently, instead of two separate guys.
[24] Sent you a TG!!
#2 spelled wrong DOH!!
I think it's an interesting hyper psychology that if a couple people report a problem on a clue then everyone else who is stumped begins to think it is a hard clue and then more people jump on too and then it just spirals! We start to think we can't get it because it's hard and no one else is getting it either. Whereas if no one else said anything, we'd think it was just us, think about it some more, and probably get it.
[24] What do you call two people who share a room? It's really that simple. :)
And thanks, sammydb! This was a really clever idea and well-done.
#25, I thought the same thing...that it was what the front guy was changing into when he dressed differently, as in he changed from "him to him". Guessing that is probably what most of those that were stumped were thinking too.
Yep, very clever - thanks for the pule!
I don't get these. Is the picture the answer, or the clue? If number 1 was a picture of Gilligan, is that the answer or the clue to the answer?
nvm, the double letter part was throwing me...

I don't know what #2 is, but I got #11 without too much trouble... which is too bad since people are salting #11 but not #2
[32] You're almost begging for some salt on #2 - sorry, I can't help you.
Like everyone, I'm stumped on 11.
I just got home after being away all night. Curious why no one could provide salt for #2? Well, in case anyone is still thinking about it, think about what he IS...not what he is DOING. (Hope that helps...was gonna give another word that means the same thing, but thought that might be an 'obvious' hint...even though it's past 200 now...
[33] Oof, how did I not get that? Thanks.
You are a freaking genius!! You solved this puzzle.

Apparently quiet a few of us can't spell ;)
#2 kicked my butt as well...
[35], [33] provided salt for #2 - note that if you look through the coments, until [32] asked for salt everyone else had edited their query, on #2, with never-mind/"NM" before anyone could provide any salt, as they'd figured it out on their own... just my observation.
Thanks Blinman! [33] Nice and Salty.
Thanks Sammy! It was a nice touch to make all the solutions real words. You truly are a Tanga Titan.
Awesome puzzle.
Thanks everyone! It was fun making this one. Sorry the bum and dorm buddy got everyone messed up!!
:) #2 got me too!
