Gosh, I loved clue #7 in particular. That was awesome!

  2. Rf_avatarTomatoRandiman on Oct 13, 2011 07:04 PM

    Nicely done, armyknife!

  3. FileRadishArrow on Oct 13, 2011 07:06 PM

    Cute! Thanks, armyknife!

  4. FileRocketjsw on Oct 13, 2011 07:07 PM

    woohoo

  5. FileTomatobcgrote on Oct 13, 2011 07:08 PM

#3 might be obscure for some.... He's apparently a jerk?

  6. Christopher_david_ryan_-_eyeGarlickc6201 on Oct 13, 2011 07:10 PM

    [5] Huh?

  7. FileSailboatdagibbs on Oct 13, 2011 07:11 PM

    Easy and fun.

  8. FileSailboatdagibbs on Oct 13, 2011 07:12 PM

[5] There's enough there to google.

  9. Christopher_david_ryan_-_eyeGarlickc6201 on Oct 13, 2011 07:15 PM

[8] No, I know who the guy is, I just don't understand the comment on it.

Oh, must have missed that episode...

  10. FileEggplanthankescu on Oct 13, 2011 07:13 PM

    Other people were awfully fast!
(I have seen this or something awfully close to this in an old puzzle.)

  11. FileGarlicMrPlow99 on Oct 13, 2011 07:13 PM

#3 was really obscure (albeit searchable). I probably would've gone with a former president instead, or maybe a Cheers bartender if you wanted to keep the D.
And then I got stuck on #12 not realizing that it was just asking for the overall theme. Not a good night for me.

  12. FileDuckiePatanga on Oct 13, 2011 07:21 PM

Could someone explain 12 to me? NM

  13. FileSailboatdagibbs on Oct 13, 2011 07:23 PM

[9] I was responding to [5] as well, not to you.

  14. FileGrapesBonBon30 on Oct 13, 2011 08:05 PM

Great puzzle! This was really fun! The theme clicked for me on #5.

  15. Avatar_profileRadishcrazyasitsounds on Oct 13, 2011 09:20 PM

Wicked cute! (Except maybe for the spelling of #4.) I love the set/environment notation in #12, too!

  16. AnguseyeaCarrotbamar on Oct 14, 2011 04:53 AM

    One little beef.

#11 is not one of those despite everyone's insistence to want to stick the word on the end of it.

  17. 100_1703Eggsonjahi on Oct 14, 2011 04:55 AM

[15] The spelling for #4 is correct - it's a name brand. I once made a OWW using candy and I spelled this particular one with a Y, and wanted to use the Y in the answer too. The mod pointed out I had the spelling wrong (they were right - I checked!).

I suspect the crossing on that last letter was very deliberate since you and I are probably not the only ones that try to misspell it. (Although I no longer do, thanks to that puzzle. ;)

  18. 100_1703Eggsonjahi on Oct 14, 2011 04:57 AM

[16] Will you send me a TG explaining? I looked up the animal in Wikipedia and it looks like the one clued and it named what the puzzle is going for... so... I trust your judgement on Australia more than Wikipedia's, I'm just curious.

  19. FilePlumlocaljester88 on Oct 14, 2011 05:24 AM

Apparently, I am really thick and need some NaCL for 12, even with two letters I cannot fathom what they are looking for. Thanks

  20. Smarty_pants_village_logoheadApple1misslizzy on Oct 14, 2011 06:37 AM

I am stuck on #1 and #12. Can anyone give me some salt please.

  21. FilePepperChupper on Oct 14, 2011 06:58 AM

I guessed at 12 based on the theme, but I don't get it

  22. Avatar_profilePlumpainn3ck on Oct 14, 2011 07:54 AM

ahhhhhhh have an answer for all, but still not right??? #1 and #12 not making 100% sense...

  23. Stfu_fortune_cookie-12260Bananainsta1234 on Oct 14, 2011 09:04 AM

Technically #9 is "Reverse Warrior" But there wasn't enough spaces for it.

Those not getting #12 or the theme. Think of a jungle book song .

  24. Img_0036Acearemley on Oct 14, 2011 10:29 AM

[18] check the wiki article under names ...

  25. FileGarlicMrPlow99 on Oct 14, 2011 01:05 PM

[18] I think what [16] means is that the answer to #11 technically doesn't fit the theme, not that the picture in #11 doesn't correspond to the answer for #11.

It's tough for me to explain without being salty.

  27. Avatar_profilePlumbugsnnuts on Oct 14, 2011 10:26 PM

This has been frustrating me all day. I feel like I have theme, all the answers and everything spelled correctly but it is not taking. It is probably something silly I'm missing but it is driving me crazy.

  28. Avatar_profilePlumpainn3ck on Oct 15, 2011 06:13 PM

[28] I second that, have come back to this 3 times.... just cant see whats wrong
