Amazing !!! Didn't have a clue until #13 !!
Help with #8?
That was nice.
#8 was tough. Wouldn't have called either of those items by that word.
Nicely done!
[4] Was that supposed to be salt? Because I don't see a clue in there. Does the word have to do with them being religious symbols or just that they're jewelry?
Stuck on 4, 8 and 10. -- got 'em. Thanks for the salt!
[7] #4 and #10 are kind of two words, or maybe hyphenated words. #4 is probably one word, but it seems like two words.
[6] No, actually it was just a comment/complaint. But I kept trying to call them talisman and wasn't getting anything. It's a synonym of that. But I would have more quickly thought of the word if the items had been stone or gems and more teardrop shaped. (Probably just me)
#10 isn't too words -- the arrow is pointing to the bar, and there is just one word for that.
#4 is what he's doing (not tanning, the other word).
#10 is the correct name for the bar (or the woman, followed by "artist"), often found in the circus.
Wow, I totally missed the text clue on #8! Was that there the whole time? I got the theme from #3. Probably would have gotten it sooner if I knew what #1 and #2 were cluing. #7 actually has two possible answers, depending on what words you use to describe the items. Both fit the grid.
[9] That one took me a while, too. I eventually got it by filling in words that fit the theme and trying... getting the solution, then back-guessing the word for the picture. It wasn't talisman, nor medallion, nor pendant.
Stuck on #1 and #8. I think if I can get one I can probably get the other
Nevermind, got #8 by looking up synonyms for it online then #1 became obvious.
[9] Yeah, do an image search - It's mostly these. But I agree that there's not really a single definitive image for this. It's kinda gonna be somewhat subjective. That said, I think the clue is more than fair, especially once you have a) the theme here, and b) the last two letters in the grid.
[12] Actually now that I take a closer look at #7, I see that the other word doesn't really fit. I just woke up for a quickie nap, so I'm not noticing things right away, lol.
[12] #7 only has one possible answer if you factor in the word clue.
[12] The text was there the whole time :)
[17] I didn't see that either!
[19] LOL, go back to bed!

113. Well, I just had surgery this morning. maybe that accounts for it.
A couple of the clues just took me too long.
SHAMELESS PLUG
If you liked this one, you might enjoy this old Hyper of mine from 2008:

It's similar in theme, but not in construction.
Got them all in, they all fit together and they all fit the category and it doesn't like me. GRUM-ble! Does anyone else have the problem that when you hit a backspace it takes you all the way out of the game. GRRRR!
[24] I'll check your list if you want to TG it to me.
Tough one, but very interesting.
a bear of a puzzle!
Guessed #1 after getting the rest and still don't know the clue word...
It's a nice touch that, as indicated by the title, every answer appears exactly in the middle of its clue.
Nice puzzle. I was stuck on #8, but got it from [9] and a thesaurus.
I enjoyed this one. Thanks.
Googling the text in #8 should help, if needed.
[15] Maybe if you used something "magical/mystical" like Auryn/Orin from the Neverending Story. At least that word jumps into my head more readily for #8 with something like that.
I know it's a few days late, but this one is driving me crazy. Any help on #8 and #10?
