A puzzle maker I ALWAYS seem to have difficulty with
edit: like 1 can't be "seanut"
[1] Perhaps you should consider the implications of the title.
Stepped right through this one with no treble.
[1] Other than it doesn't fit the grid, what in the world is a "seanut?"
That was a great puzzle!--I can't believe I got it all...Got hung up on 15 for a while
[4] exactly
[2] well obviously i have tried, but it makes no sense to me....
[4] LOL, yeah.
[1] Interesting. I'm not sure why that would be the case. Especially with this one.
Stumped on #12 with the brick. Or is that not a brick?
Edit: Got it, but never heard of the term.
Great puzzle, sonjahi! Now it's time for bed.
Goodbyyyyyyyyyyyyyye....
Goodbyyyyyyyyyyyyyye....
GoodBYYYYYYYYYYYYE
Cool puzzle, I liked it!
Anybody else have to keep repeating - let's just say - "something" in their mind to keep on track? I liked this one a lot.
[8] Well, that note is a 'C' is why endel went that direction. But, endel, it is also called something else if you'd care to sing along...
[9] Yes, it's a brick.
[10] Not staying up for the Puzzlethon?!
all but 10! is the pic a three letter word?
nm duh p&S
Am I the only one who had trouble with #6?
[11] While many of the puzzlemakers here have a certain "style" to their work, I actually don't really think of this as a "Sonjahi" Hyper, per se. I think this one could have come from a lot of different people, myself included.
In fact, I would have probably toyed with the idea of not having the notes. And idea, I think, that, while trickier, would have made this far less enjoyable for most of you :) In fact, one of the Mods might have even suggested I add them.
[15] yes
[16] no
#6 was a new word for me... guessed on spelling. googled, got it. You're not alone [15].
Nice Hyper, coming and going!
Well finally got it, and no, not a fan....
doesn't 7 have 2 possible correct answers?
Had trouble with#12, kept saying it but didn't realize it was a word. Nice puzzle, sonja. Now I'm singing!
OMG.....the jacket...the towel.....salt.....please
[16] May I join that club? I wonder if the puzzle maker is subject to the cot-caught merger.

Sonjahi, do you live near a green dot on this map? http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/0a/Cot-caught_merger.png
[16] LOL... *sigh* I'm sorry, I do my best to work around my Southern accent but that particular sound difference is just way too subtle for me, no matter how hard I try to catch them. I can tell after you point them out but they are very hard for me to catch ahead of time.
[23] That one was my personal favorite, I think.
[24] check your TGs
#9 Stumped..
[25] Why, yes I do. Philana and I have had more than one conversation on this particular pronunciation deficiency of mine (hence the apology in [26]). I appreciate your link referring to my dialect as a "variety of English" (and thus legit), rather than a deficiency. :P
edit: Oops. My 'green' dot was actually grey. In a cluster of yellow.
Can't there be at least three words with the 'knee'????
[15] [17] Just a bit. That one was a bit of a stretch phonetically.
But overall I liked the puzzle. Nice one sonjahi.
Not taking my answers - could be #12 or else #6 if people are saying it's a new word for them. Am I off-base for thinking #6 would involve attorneys in real life?
Finally.....that damn "knee".....other things fit there just fine.
[32] You are correct about #6. You can send me your list if you'd like.
[30][33] Not sure how you can get three different words using the given starting sound and 'knee'. I'd be curious for you to TG them to me. Or perhaps you missed a part of the theme?
Wonderful puzzle.
#12 is killing me. No idea at all.
N/M Post and solve. At least that is the first time for me to say that!
Also not taking mine... don't want to dump a pile of salt, so anyone mind checking mine?
[25] This is now one of my favorite posts here.
FWIW, while not "perfect," I think the "stretch" is much smaller than it's being made out to be, and the answer, IMO, is totally gettable.
[33] Uh... other things *can* fit there, but only one thing fits the puzzle's theme.
[37] I can, send them to me.
[26] I certainly don't have a southern accent (though I am surrounded by it now in Florida, and was a while back in South Carolina), I didn't have much problem with #6 (12 was more difficult for me). I suppose I don't pronounce the answer exactly as the clues would suggest, it's a minor difference for my Midwestish accent. So I guess issues with that one are perhaps just a regional issue for some folks.
[34] if the notes are cluing the beginning sounds; some of us ie me, don't read any music whatsoever so for instance with knee I first came up with rainy but got correct answ 2nd time around
[41] I read music, and I found it was more of a hindrance than a help :) You don't need to read music, you just need to know The Sound of Music - and even then, really, only some of the lyrics to one specific song.
[41][42] I think it's just confusing...It isn't music, and yeah, the specific song, and if not, you're screwed...
[34] Thanks - no rush in getting to TG b/c I'm headed to bed if I can ever get the song out of my head, lol
[42] And a song that I would guess nearly all of us sang in elementary school music class even if we haven't seen the movie (like me - really). And while I did research carefully to make sure that C really was the first note in the song, it'd be easy enough, if you know the song, to take an educated guess on what the first note must be.
[43] Which is why I reference the movie in the title to clue you to use the song and not CDEFG...
For what its worth, #6 was the last one for me to solve for the same reasons everyone has said but it dawned (not donned) on me when I realized the maker was Sonjahi.
I loved this puzzle but as usually I got stumped a few times with the American phonetic sound of short o sounding like "aw" instead of what I'm more used to.
[46] yeah I get it now...just thick I guess...
Oh my - yes, I did have trouble with #12. When I finally figured it out, I realized I had heard it before, a long time ago. Great puzzle, and for the many who had trouble with 12, we should thank you for teaching us something new! Well done!
This one was a lot of fun! I loved it!
Very, very, nice.
I grew up in California and now live in NY but #6 flowed perfectly for me. I seem to be stuck on ones other people have no trouble with. For instance my dad helped me with #13 and I thought I had #3 but upon reflection the two can't both be right.
# 4 #16 and #12 have me stumped.
#9 was a new word to be but I think I got it.
