What a colorful theme!
Bottom clue took me a while, but I finally got it.
It was beyond primary!
Nice one Philana :-)
after yesterday, it's nice to have an easy one, if anybody's got a problem, wikipedia is really helpful
fun! Haven't heard of many of these. Thankfully, there is always wikipedia.
A few of those were hard for me to get. Cute, though. I like.
Whee! That was fun. The bottom two across took us a while, but we finally got them. I recognized a fair number of them...does that betray my age?
WTG, Philana! I knew you'd use your rebus powers for good.
Good fun. Thanx Philana.
I don't get the one with the duck
Thanks wikipedia!
[10] Me Either. Any salt out there for the duck?
[12] Wiki's good for that, too. :)
That was fun! Thanks, Philana.
[10][12] If you go searching for a sad duck, you're looking at things in the wrong direction.
No idea on the theme until I got about half and googled... I wonder is the worm one based on what's outside or what's inside after it got smashed...
Excellent!
Gee, the names have (mostly) all changed since I last used these! Still, the rebi were clear enough, and I correctly figured the theme, got all but one of them (bottom across), wiki'd it, and thoroughly enjoyed the update.
Nice Puzzle Philana!
This was the only salt-free solve for me tonight.
Thanks! I needed that!
Wow, that last one with the duck took forever...but we got it. Great puzzle!!!
I'm thrilled and encouraged that so many of you enjoyed my first Tanga puzzle. Thank you!
Still stuck on the bottom across, any salt?
That was fun!
Took me forever to get the theme. I hadn't heard of most of these and finally had to look up one of the unique ones to get what it had to do w/ anything. =-D
[21] There's another list on Wiki you need to look up.
Nice puzzle!
thanks for the nudge.
Call me old fashioned, but I really dislike some of these names. Give me Burnt Sienna any day.
[27] I mostly agree with you, but if you buy the 96 count (or if you're an ubergeek like me, the 108 count), you get Burnt Sienna as well as the (very slightly different) replacement.
And, yes, I own the 108 count box. And I'm 36. And I still use the crayons.
LOL at the bottom rightmost across.
Great first puzzle!
Impressive for a first, but maybe not when you look at ALL the quality puzzles you put out! Thanks!
