Wasn't a show called "Singing Bee" on tonight? Good timing.

  2. AvatarApplebagherra on Tue Oct 09, 2007 07:09 PM

  4. FileGarlicHope2002 on Tue Oct 09, 2007 07:14 PM

Wow! This puzzle was made for me. I don't know if I should be proud or embarrassed to know every one of these instantly. Some do reveal my age, I think.

  5. FileCarrotblahmcblah on Tue Oct 09, 2007 07:15 PM

Too easy... but I liked it! :D

  6. Avatar_12-08Pancakesthreehojos on Tue Oct 09, 2007 07:17 PM

    Fun puzzle! I enjoyed it!

  7. FileRocketfeydjm on Tue Oct 09, 2007 07:18 PM

Any salt on top across, I've got all of the others.

  8. AvatarCarrotrobrizob on Tue Oct 09, 2007 07:20 PM

You know how to win folks over, John. Fun, fun, fun.

  9. FileEggjohninc on Tue Oct 09, 2007 07:22 PM

[7] What do you need, a picture?

  10. SouthparkPepperTahnan on Tue Oct 09, 2007 07:27 PM

Yeah, OK, I had to google that top-across one. But really, they're all pretty much immediate if you Google them, so.

  11. Club_liverpoolAppleJLRobert on Tue Oct 09, 2007 07:33 PM

It wasn't so tough after a catching one you know.

  12. FileOnionJohn on Tue Oct 09, 2007 07:31 PM

The polaroid was taken around 1983. Nobody tell me how they weren't born yet, or I'm going to go cry :)

  13. Avatar_profileRocketgreenie on Tue Oct 09, 2007 07:36 PM

Thanks, [9] - I still don't know who that top across band is - thought it was the Bay City Rollers, but they never had a song with that title.

    Thank goodness for Google!

  14. FileRocketMedCheryl on Tue Oct 09, 2007 07:51 PM

[4] I felt the same way!

  15. FileStrawberryhappyjosiah on Tue Oct 09, 2007 08:27 PM

Wasn't born yet. 1985. =) Still, I got all but 2 without any help at all.

  16. FileStrawberryhappyjosiah on Tue Oct 09, 2007 08:26 PM

    Sorry, double post.

  17. FileDuckiedavey3 on Tue Oct 09, 2007 08:48 PM

I don't know these ... it would take pure Googling for me ... I'll pass.

  18. Avatar_profileAppleqwertyca on Wed Oct 10, 2007 12:08 AM

    Wow another googlefest :-(

But hey, thanks for atleast providing enough text to search with. Considering I've never even heard of ANY of these songs except for Avril Lavinge's it's a miracle that I got most of them in one search.

  19. FileAppleLegomancer on Wed Oct 10, 2007 05:59 AM

Puzzle makers, from now on I will expect you to call me up and make sure that I personally have the base knowledge to solve all your puzzles instantly without having to do anything like look stuff up.

  20. FileGarlicHope2002 on Wed Oct 10, 2007 07:11 AM

[19] Puzzles that every single person has the base knowledge in......what does that leave us? Former Tanga puzzles?

  21. FileGarlicChupper on Wed Oct 10, 2007 07:12 AM

FYI, according to google the third line in the top across clue should actually be "All I've got is a..." instead of ""All I've got is your..."

  22. FilePepperdajagr on Wed Oct 10, 2007 09:25 AM

Well, I'd heard of _one_ of those before. Primarily because Weird Al did a parody of it. I swear, I live on the wrong side of pop culture or something.

  23. Avatar_profileOrangemerebystander on Wed Oct 10, 2007 09:31 AM

Woot! I didn't even have to use Wikipedia! Loved it! Thank you!

  24. PirateleadfootPumpkinleadfoot on Wed Oct 10, 2007 12:24 PM

    [22] dajagr
    exactly *one* for me too!

  25. FileOrangedconk04 on Wed Oct 10, 2007 12:57 PM

Fun. Wish there were more like this!

  26. FileEggplantouredman on Wed Oct 10, 2007 04:15 PM

You might--you might remember this one... "Private eyes, (claps) they're watching you. (claps twice)" That was all me. The clapping part. I wasn't actually the one who uh, clapped, but um, it was my idea. To clap. I didn't really sing, or play guitar that well. So. (pause) I'm Oates

  27. Sparky_fullflame_01PumpkinTJSunDevil on Thu Oct 11, 2007 01:02 PM

That was cool! Only one I didn't know was the top across with the one armed drummer.

  28. Sparky_fullflame_01PumpkinTJSunDevil on Thu Oct 11, 2007 01:05 PM

If you need salt on who the top across is, solve this puzzle:
