Nice theme. If I only knew all the answers

I'm with you on this one. Know a couple.

I am happy to salt upon request.

Got all (we think) except the top left and bottom right across clues.

I've got all but three: The guy in three circles under a pole, the woman in the doorway, and the guy between two trucks.

[5] don't you find it weird you didn't get the woman in the doorway?

lol at [6] nice salt.

I am missing three. Don't know the middle of the road (thought I did but doesn't fit), walking on the path, or fighting on the train car.

6, thanks -- never saw that movie, but that was the salt I needed.

[6] thanks!

For the car/fight, look at what's on the car.

is that a boiler in the far left down?

yeah

[4] Top Left: You are probably 6 degrees away from the answer.

Bottom Right: I can't think of any salt with all these clocks chiming at once.

It's been soooo long since I've seen most of these!

[14] awesome on the bottom left salt! Thanks!
That was the last one I needed.

[5] 3 Circles: You virtually have the answer if you have seen Chuck's poster on NBC's Chuck.

> the guy between two trucks.

Not a guy!

so Gameczar, did you do all these graphics yourself? Your stick-figure-fu is much stronger than mine!

[18] It took MANY hours on a Saturday to do that one.

[14] That got us the bottom right, thanks. Still struggling on the top left... either that, or something else is wrong. *sigh*

EDIT: Yup, had another misspelling. Thanks for the salt.

*sigh* Took me forever because I misread the leftmost down answer as "first name."

Awesome puzzle.

The top-left across is kinda difficult because of the 2D aspect. So some extra salt here.

1. The person between the pickup truck and the car is straddling the vehicles and she is female.

2. That is a Peterbilt coming at them.

3. And girlfriend, when you finally get the answer, remember no dancing it's illegal.

Still confused musically...

help with the boiler/furnace one please?

[23] Take your old records off the shelf, they might help.

Ok, who is playing the trumpet?

[24] I would like to help but I am tired from not sleeping for many nights, bad dreams and all.

The furnace answer came to me in a dream...

Unlike the bottom right down & bottom right across, which are eluding me.

edit : Thanks for the salt 25!

[26] It's not a trumpet.

[25] Thanks!! That was just what I needed?

[25] Thank you!!

[28] The salt on that one will strike you like lightning.

thanks gameczar -- now just down to the 3 circles guy -- chuck clue didn't get me there

Can't believe you left out Ferris.... He's actually on TV right now!

[33] Besides being a movie, it's also a video game.

[33] So you want another Clu. I guess Yori out of luck.

[34] I couldn't think of a good stick figure scene for FBDO.

* The question isn't "what are we going to do," the question is "what aren't we going to do?"

Ugh, that means I have something else wrong....

[33] I cycled through many answers before I stumbled on the correct one.

So I take it one has to have seen all of these movies to have any hope here. In that case I'm not even going to try.

Really loved this one!!! I had a tough time (as is evidenced by my previous comment) with a couple, but that was satisfying!

[40] None of the movies are obscure, they were all 80s hits.

So cant get several.
1. Sword fight in the street.
2. The girl between the cars. THought I had it but the three hombres by the church changed that answer for me. Is she concerned for her son?
3. the one with the lady walking down the path.

Guess I'm dense - I'm stilllll stuck on the bottom right across. I'm worried I have a mistake somewhere, for I can't find a name that fits from what I think [28] is referring to.

Edit: And... I just reloaded the page by mistake and deleted all my answers. Sigh...

[43]
1. That's not a sword fight, this is a...
2. Nope, but her Dad by another church sure is.

EDIT:
*. Take a break. Have a snack, maybe some Reese's Pieces.

Oops, This is for the two people under the big glowing circle.

[44] :( -- Anyway I guess your puzzle is in flux now. Step on the gas and get back up to speed. You will get the answer in time.

[43] The sword fight isn't a sword fight. The little on isn't a knife...the big one's a knife!

[43] The girl in the middle isn't worried about anything but dancing and having a good time.

What is with the guy in the shower on the left side across??

[43] Not a lady. A man with really cool hair!

[49] Not a shower. Think more colorful.

[43] With enough salt you will get the answer at precisely 10:04pm, next Saturday night!

[46] Great Scott! That did it. Thanks.

thanks [45], [47], [48], [50], and [52]
Finally got them all. #42

[54] cheer!

Okay, that glowy circle guy obviously isn't a dude on a dance floor under a disco ball.

D'oh!

No the person on a path or a runway or the highway with the building or big truck or whatever that is (Bottom right across). I'm not quite sure what I'm seeing.

Ahhh...there it is!

Sweetness!
Thanks, gameczar.

People people people... some of us were just kids in the 80s and barely remember anything. Can we PLEASE stop having such era-specific pop culture references? It's one thing having historic figures who we learn about in school, but it's another thing entirely to make whole puzzles about pop culture. PLEASE - NO MORE PRE-2000 POP CULTURE PUZZLES.

I'm sooooo going to make a 60s pop culture puzzle :p

I wasn't even alive in the 60s but I could still make one!

Uggh. I've never seen most of these movies. There's not enough context to get most of them. Nasty.

I was less than 10 years old for almost all of these movies, and I still love every one of 'em! Forced me to revisit my favorite 80's movie scenes from your (unique) perspective, Gameszar. Thanks!

This is my favorite puzzle so far! It must have taken forever to make, but it was sooo cute!!!

qwertyca - For those of us who are a touch older, the post-2000 pop references would be equally as annoying. It's kind of like why I liked the first Austin Powers and hated the second (and didn't bother with the third). The first one was spoofing the 60's spy flicks with that era's pop-culture references. The second was full of *modern* pop-culture references, most of which I didn't get.

New user, obviously, but I loved this puzzle! Spotted most of the movies right off, but the salt sprinkled out was just perfect for the rest.

(pout) I can't get the top left or the plane one.

Ok, for the 2nd
