I've got all but three: The guy in three circles under a pole, the woman in the doorway, and the guy between two trucks.

[5] don't you find it weird you didn't get the woman in the doorway?

I am missing three. Don't know the middle of the road (thought I did but doesn't fit), walking on the path, or fighting on the train car.

[4] Top Left: You are probably 6 degrees away from the answer.
Bottom Right: I can't think of any salt with all these clocks chiming at once.

[5] 3 Circles: You virtually have the answer if you have seen Chuck's poster on NBC's Chuck.

Not a guy!

[14] That got us the bottom right, thanks. Still struggling on the top left... either that, or something else is wrong. *sigh*
EDIT: Yup, had another misspelling. Thanks for the salt.

*sigh* Took me forever because I misread the leftmost down answer as "first name."
Awesome puzzle.

The top-left across is kinda difficult because of the 2D aspect. So some extra salt here.
1. The person between the pickup truck and the car is straddling the vehicles and she is female.
2. That is a Peterbilt coming at them.
3. And girlfriend, when you finally get the answer, remember no dancing it's illegal.

So cant get several.
1. Sword fight in the street.
2. The girl between the cars. THought I had it but the three hombres by the church changed that answer for me. Is she concerned for her son?
3. the one with the lady walking down the path.

Guess I'm dense - I'm stilllll stuck on the bottom right across. I'm worried I have a mistake somewhere, for I can't find a name that fits from what I think [28] is referring to.
Edit: And... I just reloaded the page by mistake and deleted all my answers. Sigh...

1. That's not a sword fight, this is a...
2. Nope, but her Dad by another church sure is.

People people people... some of us were just kids in the 80s and barely remember anything. Can we PLEASE stop having such era-specific pop culture references? It's one thing having historic figures who we learn about in school, but it's another thing entirely to make whole puzzles about pop culture. PLEASE - NO MORE PRE-2000 POP CULTURE PUZZLES.
Hope2002

qwertyca - For those of us who are a touch older, the post-2000 pop references would be equally as annoying. It's kind of like why I liked the first Austin Powers and hated the second (and didn't bother with the third). The first one was spoofing the 60's spy flicks with that era's pop-culture references. The second was full of *modern* pop-culture references, most of which I didn't get.
New user, obviously, but I loved this puzzle! Spotted most of the movies right off, but the salt sprinkled out was just perfect for the rest.
