LOL, how could I not approve this one?
a little "obscure" don't you think?
This has to be a joke, right?
Edit: No, it wasn't a joke. There's nothing funny about a hypercross with errors!
I'll wait for the answers on this one...
I've managed to figure out #3, #4, and #6 so far.
I'll trade you for #1 and #2 . . . ;-)
I'm fairly sure of my answers for #2 and #6, but they don't match at the crossing. Help!
Okay, I solved it. But I believe there's an error. I had to type #2 and #6 correctly but make sure the grid showed the last letter of #2 instead of the third letter of #6.
Obscure is one thing, but with 2 of the pictures not even helping with the team or jersey number, this was tough. Luckily I stumbled on a Yahoo Answers page that listed them all. And there does seem to be a mistake. Enter the answer for #6, and then enter #2. This will put an "E" over the 3rd letter of #6, which was how I got to be first (!).
According to the Milwaukee Bucks history page and the list of players who wore 13 on their jersey, #1 is NOT among them!
[8] Thanks for the "order" to enter...AND for where to look!
[1] It's easy, really... "Just Say No!"
[1] easily...very, very easily
Was this the winner in the "most obscure hypercross category ever" contest?
[1] Better question. Why in the heck would you ever even consider approving this?
sorry about that clue 6 was starting in the wrong column, it's fixed now.
If you've having trouble finding people, Wiki has a list of foreign NBA players that lists them all.
[9] His Wiki article says he was waived from the Bucks shortly after being signed. He must have played a game, then left the team.
absolutely obscure...not even fun to do....guess I will just wait for a more enjoyable puzzle to use my time on....
thanks, [8].
The theme may be obscure, but at least it's obvious, if that makes any sense. And I think it does. Thanks to the puzzlemaker for not giving us a cute title and pun clues.
Hey, all.
This one was just *so* far out there in such a specific way that, well... I don't know... it kinda charmed me.
And also what [18] said... it seemed like such a small, obvious pool of answers would mitigate the crazy obscurity of it. But I guess a lot of you felt differently.
Solved it two years and 6 months after it was published and I score 90th?
Wow, this is a terribly unpopular puzzle!
[20] Ha! Solved it another 9 months after you - for 94th place. Definitely unpopular and horrible at same time. :P
Most of 4 years after publication I got 99. No fun at all. Much searching of pictures and lists. Feh.
