ETA: Thank goodness for my husband. He id'd the dragon one on first glance.

  7. Avatar_profileBananawhitastic on Fri Jan 04, 2008 07:23 PM

  8. Interlocking_nyRadishNiner on Fri Jan 04, 2008 07:24 PM

  11. FileWatermelonSperry on Fri Jan 04, 2008 07:31 PM

    I love it!

Wandered around that blasted "rocket" for a while, I did.

  12. Avatar_profilePlumJohnChod on Fri Jan 04, 2008 07:32 PM

Argh - the alcohol bottle and bird had me for a while. I can't believe it's so easy and it took me that long to recognize it! Oh well - number 60 isn't bad. I'm not usually looking at these until the next day.

  13. Avatar_profileStrawberrytwinim on Fri Jan 04, 2008 07:44 PM

Does anyone have any salt for the seagull clue?

  14. FilePancakesMysticalmelody on Fri Jan 04, 2008 07:49 PM

[13] It's whats in the bottle that counts...
and it's shorter word for the bird

  15. Avatar_profileStrawberrytwinim on Fri Jan 04, 2008 07:51 PM

[14] Thanks, that did it! I just missed the top 100, but oh well.

  16. FileClockJewelia on Fri Jan 04, 2008 08:02 PM

[16] actually, I think Scrooge had that problem--Christmas Past, Present, Yet to Come--he really should have taken out a restraining order.

  17. FilePancakesMysticalmelody on Fri Jan 04, 2008 08:02 PM

    [16] Waay too salty!

  18. Thunk_logo_colorPotatofachanlahd on Fri Jan 04, 2008 08:12 PM

The celery threw me, but with [5]'s salt I was finally able to get it. Instead of celery, Hay or Wheat could have been used as well.

  19. Ag1Potatojeep on Fri Jan 04, 2008 08:18 PM

    Nice puzzle.

  20. Avatar_profileAppletravelocity on Fri Jan 04, 2008 08:25 PM

134th... [4] For the dragon clue, the T-shirt might be worn by St. George.

  21. FileApplenkpham on Fri Jan 04, 2008 08:33 PM

help with the hitchcock one please! is it a movie?

  22. Avatar_profileWatermelonRatteler50 on Fri Jan 04, 2008 08:37 PM

bah, I am pretty sure I Have everything but the title. Everything makes sense, and I went though and checked the spelling, but it still says wrong. I tried a few different titles that fit the topic and the length, but I am still not getting a "correct" message.

  23. FileApplenkpham on Fri Jan 04, 2008 08:38 PM

nm.... i figured it out using google and doing a random search for xmas words. =)

  24. Avatar_profileApplekswitz on Fri Jan 04, 2008 08:43 PM

cute...was trying to be too specific for the celery.

  25. FilePancakeshatemachine on Fri Jan 04, 2008 09:06 PM

got em all easily except that number crossword thingy...

  26. Avatar_profileKiwitaznjazz on Fri Jan 04, 2008 09:11 PM

Thanks [5] the celery stalk is much better with salt on it.

[23] The title is more seasoning for the rest of the meal, than part of the meal.

  27. AvatarDuckiesteph_frolin on Fri Jan 04, 2008 09:54 PM

OK, I'm missing something. 5th clue. 5 letter word minus 3 letter word equals 4 letter word?

  28. FilePeachlaniwalk on Fri Jan 04, 2008 10:04 PM

Egads! The title clue makes no sense to me at all! I have all the rest. Help!

  29. FilePancakesMysticalmelody on Fri Jan 04, 2008 10:17 PM

[28] its a six letter word minus a three letter word and you get the exact sound of the answer. What do you call the place you keep all your food goods... that also has that specific cooking utensil in its name?
... It starts with that utensil.

  30. FileEggplantHackmaster12 on Fri Jan 04, 2008 10:31 PM

I'm stuck on the California one and the food supply minus the thing that I have no idea what it is.

I got the title clue though.

EDIT: Ah, that cooking utensil. I just wasn't seeing the right perspective.

  31. FilePepperdajagr on Fri Jan 04, 2008 10:31 PM

Okay, this one was actually fun!

  32. Avatar_profileBananaEndoannie on Fri Jan 04, 2008 10:38 PM

I'm stuck on the title as well....that crossword thingy...aaargh! HELP

  33. Avatar_profileBananaEndoannie on Fri Jan 04, 2008 10:41 PM

    31) A place to store food is a good thing to have in a house.

    Salt for the title...PLEASE

  34. Avatar_profileKiwitaznjazz on Fri Jan 04, 2008 11:38 PM

The title is salted all over the rest of the puzzle, and sort of a black sheep from the rest too. It doesn't really fit in, kind of a loner, but it knows it's Position in the world. *dizzy* Whoa! I wonder what time it is? Where am i? *whoomp* Ummm...that was wierd...

  35. Avatar_profilePearebbyjungle on Fri Jan 04, 2008 11:43 PM

what is wrong with alfred - I cannot get it

  36. PirateleadfootPumpkinleadfoot on Fri Jan 04, 2008 11:48 PM

Ha! When I first looked at the celery clue I wondered how tracking stealthily fit with the theme!

    Fun Puzzle again Jewelia!

  37. Avatar_profilePearebbyjungle on Fri Jan 04, 2008 11:56 PM

i could use some sprinkles on hitchcock and the dragon question

  38. Avatar_profileRadishRastus on Sat Jan 05, 2008 01:18 AM

    38) Killer of dragons.

  39. Avatar_profileKiwitaznjazz on Sat Jan 05, 2008 01:49 AM

    [36] & [38], What does Hitchcock do?

  40. FilePancakesArnott (Tanga Admin) on Sat Jan 05, 2008 04:24 AM

Love it. I didn't need the extra step of the last answer - the traditional Hypercross was more than enjoyable enough - but that didn't kill any of my enjoyment. Nicely done.

  41. FileOnionimapuzzl on Sat Jan 05, 2008 05:20 AM

Lots of fun for me. Everything fair. No need for esoteric knowledge. Good one!

  42. FileOnionimapuzzl on Sat Jan 05, 2008 05:21 AM

[38] IMDB Hitchcock and see what you get.

  43. Avatar_profileBananafratzkehw on Sat Jan 05, 2008 06:39 AM
