Instructions

Solve the clues to fill in the grid! Type in the answers to the clues on the right side of the Hypercross puzzle below. Clicking a thumbnail image will enlarge it. You can Tab through the clues while the image is enlarged. You can also click on the first space of a word in the grid to view the clue for that word. If two words begin in the first cell, click the cell again to view the downward word. Be sure to check your spelling! Click on the "Check your Answers" button when you think you’ve got them all.

I don't know what's going on either. I got a t-gram from renfurdson this morning saying the puzzle was going to be featured at 7:00 am, but I checked then and didn't see it. Judging by the times of these first posts, it went up some time earlier than tonight, but I never saw it. I am guessing it will be back at the "normal" time.

This puzzle originally used png images, which did not work for everyone, even though they are an acceptable image format for hypercrosses. It did not work for me using IE 6. To fix that, I have now changed all images to be jpgs. However, in doing so, the clue order is now completely out of whack with what it used to be. Therefore, all the salt from here on down to [78] is going to be w.r.t. the wrong clue! Sorry, but I figured that proper working images was more important.

If I go in through the edit control panel it's broke there too! I swear this worked earlier today - and I didn't edit a thing. Sending renfurdson a t-gram. Stand by.

NM. I assumed, like an idiot, that since a "u" was a natural addition, when it would not take my entry without on, that this was the problem.

[17] Is it? For everyone? I still can't enlarge 'em. I was just going to try and re-upload one of the images and see if that helped, but I won't bother if it's working.

Edit: Hmmm, it seems to be working on my Firefox machine, but not on my IE6 PC. How's it working for everyone else?

Edit #2: Not to mention the site seems really slow for me tonight on both of my machines. Slow reloads and I have received a few error pages. Don't know if it's related. I wish I had a site where I could just post the images, but alas, my personal web site is still in it's nonexistant state.

[36] Can't - that would give it away. If you can figure out the plane in #8 and #14 they are the only airlines that fly (er, flew) that plane.

Got it by working with my wife on it. Not a big fan of the googlefest puzzles.
