    AWESOME!

  2. AssetsSailboatkayvon on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:04 PM

Got them all but the "Do with less so THEY'LL have enough" one.

  3. Avatar_profilePumpkinminnesotan on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:08 PM

The puzzle author is unfortunately not very "brite."

  4. FileXylophoneQurqirishDragon on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:08 PM

    #8 is misspelled.

  5. FileEggMurdoctor on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:09 PM

[3] Yeah, that one is spelled wrong, as is the 4th answer.

  6. FileBananagrant5 on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:08 PM

Awesome, just freakin' awesome. Knew every one right off the bat. Boy do I feel sorry for anyone who didn't grow up in the US in the eighties.

  7. FilePepperpepperhead on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:10 PM

how do you get around that spelling problem

  8. FilePumpkinBigSlick on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:10 PM

[3], [4] Argh; I hate that. So how is it supposed to be spelled (for this puzzle, I mean). Is it plural? Even spelling with "brite" (well "brites") it doesn't work. Ick.

  9. ImagesCarrotPlayer on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:11 PM

How do we get around the typo?

  10. FilePepperslog on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:11 PM

Why is there always a spelling mistake?

  11. FilePumpkinBigSlick on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:13 PM

[5] Ack! Two spelled wrong? How the heck are we supposed to know how to spell them the way that counts?

Edit: Got the right combo now.

  12. AssetsSailboatkayvon on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:11 PM

[7] Spell it differently? Tanga will tune you out if you spell it right. Best to spell it slightly wrong.

Any salt on #9? Still stuck.

  13. AssetsSailboatkayvon on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:12 PM

[7][9][11] Fix the spelling in [3] first.

  14. FilePeachSquirlwfleas on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:13 PM

Ok, have all the answers but its not taking it due to spelling issue with # 4 & # 8 - How did you all solve this problem?

Why does this seem to happen so often??

  15. FileBananaahecht on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:13 PM

I know the correct spelling, but for this puzzle does #8 need to be spelled with a "g" and does #4 need to have an "oo" near the end? I'm still not having it accept my answer.

Was the fourth from the bottom spelled correctly, or did the puzzle author spell it with an "i"?

  16. ImagesCarrotPlayer on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:13 PM

    [13] TY

  17. FileSailboatAlba on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:13 PM

    Can't get spelling for 4 & 8!

  18. FilePancakeshatemachine on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:21 PM

  19. FilePancakesA_Beaverhausen on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:13 PM

[12] There's a two letter abbreviation for the guy on the left. The rest should follow. That is, if I'm right. I can't get the 7th one.

  20. FileAppletaka912 on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:14 PM

[2] Gee I don't know what it could be..

  21. AssetsSailboatkayvon on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:14 PM

[16] No problem. I still haven't solved #9, though. The one with the WWII slogan. Any salt?

  22. FileXylophoneQurqirishDragon on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:14 PM

[12] The first picture (without the text!) would also get the corret answer!

  23. AssetsSailboatkayvon on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:14 PM

    [20] Thanks!!

  24. FileBananaahecht on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:15 PM

The guy on the right in that one is Joe Rogan.

  25. FilePeachSquirlwfleas on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:15 PM

  29. FilePeachSquirlwfleas on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:18 PM

I've tried all alternate spellings with no luck on # 4 & #8!! Some have already solved this...how about some salt???

  30. Avatar_profileGrapesFritzTheCat on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:19 PM

This puzzle is full of fail. Author gets an F-.

  31. FilePepperpepperhead on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:21 PM

  32. FileXylophoneQurqirishDragon on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:22 PM

    #2 : I'd be lion to you (5 times) if I said I couldn't help.

for the misspellings, [15] is correct.

  33. FileDuckiedavey3 on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:22 PM

That was pretty tough ... I'm amazed at how many I was able to get without looking them up. The one with the army guy was particularly tough ... I was lucky to spot it on a list. Also, the spelling tripped me up on a few of them.

  34. FilePeachSquirlwfleas on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:22 PM

GRRRRRRR - finally solved it - but this was crazy...

I would have enjoyed this puzzle if it hadn't been for the spelling issues.

  35. Try_4Sailboatsnork on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:24 PM

[28] Me either, I think I have the rest

  36. FilePumpkinsuigeneris on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:25 PM

  37. Avatar_profileKiwiFauxRed on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:25 PM

  38. FileDuckienrkii on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:26 PM

[28] on the left, that's not referring to an amp or a watt

  39. FileAppletaka912 on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:26 PM

    finally figured out the miss-spellings...

  40. FilePepperpepperhead on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:27 PM

any one tell me how to get the bow and the tune intersection to work??

  41. FileAppletaka912 on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:28 PM

  42. Try_4Sailboatsnork on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:28 PM

[38] Thanks, that did it for me. In at 95th.

  43. FilePumpkinsuigeneris on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:28 PM

heh... finally figured out which one was giving me fits. It wasn't one of the misspelled ones either! Still, not a well crafted puzzle overall. I just take solace in the fact that this is a free service.

  50. New_scout_logoCheeseburgerscoutmom on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:34 PM

[45] Y are you spelling it that way? Hmmmmm :)

  51. FileXylophoneQurqirishDragon on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:35 PM

[45] you are SO CLOSE on that one. I think you can figure out Y.

  52. FilePepperpepperhead on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:35 PM

[45] "I" havent got the gummy bears

  53. New_scout_logoCheeseburgerscoutmom on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:35 PM

The only BRIGHT spot of this whole puzzle was that because of my kids, I knew them all.

  54. FileAppleannberg on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:36 PM

Ok, I'm a noob, but I think the 8th one is not spelled correctly in the puzzle. I spent so much time checking the ones I wasn't sure about that I missed out on top 100!!!

  55. ImagesCarrotPlayer on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:36 PM

This puzzle had so much POETENSHALE of being good. :o(

  56. FileWatermelonvividtan on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:37 PM

  57. FilePepperpepperhead on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:37 PM

  59. FileGrapesBig on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:39 PM

    Fun concept. Thanks for trying.
Question: I've only been on this site about a month, Is correct spelling optional, or is it part of the "puzzle?"
More often than not, the puzzles have spelling errors or other inexplicable oddities. I have a couple puzzles I would like to contribute, but if messing with the spelling/logic is part of the game, I would like to know before I do.

  60. FilePepperpepperhead on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:42 PM

    [49] check tg

[59] it did not used to be a issue, some people take pride in what they do, some it seems lately could could care less.

I would love to see your puzzles and most of us here really like correct spelling spacing and punctuation

  61. FileApplehutch708 on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:40 PM

Took forever to find the right "Tale" on this one. Not to mention "I" had a problem with the gummy bears having "eyes"

  62. FilePepperpepperhead on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:43 PM

    [58] can you spell?

  63. Avatar_profileRadishrmcelroy on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:44 PM

[59] The speling errors are not part of the puzzle. At least, they're not supposed to be. They are merely carelessness on the part of the puzzle creators.

  64. FileEggplantmrrlobo on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:55 PM

not seeing the last one. any salt for me?

  65. FileRocketTrinSF on Wed Mar 12, 2008 07:58 PM

Alright, here's *my* problem, aside from all the misspells: the title is misleading and innacurate. Many of the listed items do not fit the title. I'd go into more detail, but that would be salty. People, if you're going to have a theme, don't *misrepresent* the theme in the title.

  91. FileKiwiDullorb on Wed Mar 12, 2008 10:44 PM

    "For the mispellings I have
    looneytoons
    rainbowbright

    Is that right? "

Yup those are the ones that are wrong. What really disappoints me is that most of these shows were not shown on Saturday mornings they were weekday shows.

Really there ought to be some quality control.

  92. FileAppledlandon2000 on Wed Mar 12, 2008 11:43 PM

Sorry everyone for the misspellings. Rainbow brite (spelled bright in the puzzle) was just because it is spelled that way in so many places on the web and I never did watch it so I didn't know. Loony tunes (toons) was just a lapse in attention.

    Sorry again.

not to tack on more complaints, but after 15 minutes of rechecking and fiddling with spelling, then reentering everything because i messed it all up, i still cant get the spellings of the bears, the tales, the toons, and the bright to work out. TG?
