Too many choices on some and not linking...making this a bit less obvious that I had hoped.
Hmmm, I've figured out some, but others don't work.
Many of them don't match up to any of the given names I've found...
Edit: Okay, got it finally. Some of them are tricky, and hard to find.
Got stuff to fit....ugh...now to find the error as it won't take.
I have answers that seem to work for all but #4 and #8.
My first time at first...too bad it's not worth anything...
Ugh...sometimes its the specific animal, sometimes it a more general term for the animal(s)....
Anybody who needs a link that actually lists all the groups in question is welcome to TG me.
Phew, that was painful!
The animals in #2 are too wily to be wolves.
[6] Those aren't vultures, think of another name for them.
The words I have for [1] and [14] don't work together. :(
Edit: Got it, but it took 5 different websites to find it. And the ones I was using were pretty comprehensive.
I'll bet your answer for #14 is one of the many correct options for that animal, but just not the particular answer required for this puzzle. TG me.
[14] Thanks, but I finally found it. Frustrating that the other answer, which is an odd one too, fit perfectly there.
I'm a big fan of collective nouns... TG me the other one that fit, if you don't mind.

[11] Thanks, Jewelia. Your comment helped me. :)
finally had to use a crossword solver for #8. nice idea with not so great execution - too many variables.
Ugh ... I've got "correct" answers for everything in the puzzle, and everything fits, but it still won't take. The only ones I'm really unsure of are the fish and the blackbirds (because they only cross at one letter).
[19] You can TG me your answers if you need a check.
I have a little list...but it's not correct in some way. I tried a variation on one of them (#12) with still no luck.
[19] I'm in the same boat here. Filled in all the answers, everything fits and crosses well... but it won't take.
TG me your answers and I'll help out
[11] Thanks. I'd never have gotten it without that. (Especially since the page I found had a word that fit in the blanks for wolves.)
The answer for #1 applies only to wild pigs; those in the photo are clearly domestic.
Great idea for a theme. Probably should have stuck to the ones that only have one choice.
Wow, that was a lot of work for 3 points!
too much work for me
Oh what a PIA.....this website has the most unusual one that wasn't listed on most sites....

[28] has the list you may need, especially if you have 'draft' for the Goldfish.... PIA, but educational!!
