Am I the only one whose computer won't access the clues starting about two weeks ago? Was there a format change? Is there a program I need to load them? Thanks for any help.

Does anyone have a clue about the car?

  8. PirateleadfootPumpkinleadfoot on Aug 05, 2007 07:27 PM

    [5] girlieweights
I went back to June 17th and I can see the clues... but I've already solved it, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it...

    I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.6

    [3], [7]

  10. FileApplejtfrancom on Aug 05, 2007 07:31 PM

I don't know what kind of picnic this is in preperation for but I don't think I want to attend...

    [9]

Am I looking for a type of car or a brand of car?

  12. FileRaspberryA_Beaverhausen on Aug 05, 2007 07:34 PM

[11] You're looking for the model.

  13. FileDuckiedavey3 on Aug 05, 2007 07:34 PM

[11] - a particular model, not just the brand

  14. PirateleadfootPumpkinleadfoot on Aug 05, 2007 07:54 PM

Too bad the quality of the picture isn't good enough to make out the hood ornament... :-(

How about salting the manufacturer? on BGG if necessary

NM - Rolls for those who are still looking...

  15. FilePeachespring on Aug 05, 2007 07:54 PM

[14] They made great aircraft engines in the past.

  16. FileApplegilby123 on Aug 05, 2007 07:57 PM

[14] Thank you...was looking at the totally wrong maker for a few. :P

Why am I humming the theme to The Pink Panther and giggling to myself?

  18. Avatar_profilePearbver100 on Aug 05, 2007 08:25 PM

it was rather anticlimactic when i got the theme

  19. Avatar_profileStrawberrymattloter on Aug 05, 2007 08:30 PM

that was awesome once i finally got the theme

  20. Avatar_profileWatermelontsloter on Aug 05, 2007 08:30 PM

    very cute!

  21. English_d_betterApplemrdehate on Aug 05, 2007 08:52 PM

I thought the car was pretty easy to find using the address that's listed on the picture...

[1][2][4][5] The hypercross coding has definitely changed in a few minor ways for me. I noticed for example, that when I flip between Tanga and another website looking for clues, it now submits a blank response at some point, overwriting letters from intersecting clues -- I don't think it used to do that.

"I thought the car was pretty easy to find using the address that's listed on the picture..."

    that's really hard to read...

  24. FileStrawberryiaiaz on Aug 05, 2007 10:36 PM

The salt on BGG did it for me

    The theme was cute, though.

  25. FileRocketBearcat89 on Aug 06, 2007 04:40 AM

The long down word tricked me for a second, until I realized that the theme applied to it twice. Clever!

  26. Avatar_profileKiwiTheDowman on Aug 06, 2007 06:31 AM

    Very cool puzzle!

Don't overlook the title, this time.

Thanks to [9] for the salt. That did it for me.

  27. Head_shotBananajppe5 on Aug 06, 2007 07:15 AM

I thought [9] was giving a browser suggestion!

  28. Ohnoes-stickerStrawberryBuddyJ on Aug 06, 2007 09:08 AM

    LOL at [18]. Very witty.

  29. FileGrapesdantan98 on Aug 06, 2007 11:48 AM

When you're doing this one, be sure to write down the names of what you see. Don't worry about how to get them in the puzzle. After 2 or 3, you'll figure it out and the rest will fall into place.

  30. FilePotatoDandelion_Wine on Aug 07, 2007 02:58 PM

    [21] THANKS!

  31. ShirlRadishshirl60 on Oct 08, 2010 10:24 PM
