7th! YeeHAWWWWW!
Got them all except the swirl...
[2] Colors? How about the rasta-non-frog? Nevermind, got it. First letter wrong. :)
any help on the three girls and the dirt?
Never mind!
missing bottom horizontal (rocking chair) and first vertical to cross it (crossed circle). :(
[4] They're gals from the South.
[5] Who dat in the chair? And the crossed circle is a type of cross.
Missing whatever that is with the clock.
[7] I'm afraid I don't know who's in the chair. That's why having the first intersector would help. I guess I'll research religious emblems...
I never cared for those three women
missing the upper-right vertical.
Woot! 41st!
[8] Farmers are simple... and it's a old piece of cloth with the clock.
[9] He was a virgin at his wedding, sorta. :)
[9] He might be your Idol.
[3] Thanks. That did it.
sweet!! 75 points
Pretty sure I have them all right, not accepting :(
only missing the weight. Grrrr....
[17] me too
[10] Neither does George W. Bush!
[13] Thanks - that did it for the clock!
[17],[19] me three. (thanks [13],[14])
Any help w/ the circuit board?
Not sure how to deduce the farmer or the open road. Any salt on these?
[18] Can't believe it took me that long for that one! It's rather weighty!
Bigslick, think about the topics covered in a physics 2 course
[24] Where would you find the open road?
This really sucks, I know I have everything spelled right... :(
[22] your welcome. Now can you return the favor on the upper-right vertical? The guy with the rainbow hair.
[26] Physics???? I blocked all that out of my brain!
Wee! fun one
anyone willing to check my answers? I cannot get it to take them and I'm pretty sure they are correct.
almost there!
:( :( :(
[11] It sure would be grand if you could figure that one out!
[28] If the first letter of upper right vertical is P, it's wrong. Been there, done that.
[35] thanks. that means I have that one, and something ELSE is wrong :-(
[35][37] yup, me too
Nice topic and good clues!
where do you find open roads?
im stuck on the circuitboard
The only one I can see that I might have wrong is the 3rd from the end. MAYBE the circuitboard also, but I think that one goes with light orchestra music, right?
97th, just made top 100. phew
thank you matador ;o)
I liked it
I liked IT
I was a bit frustrated at times. Some clues were charades (cloth and clock) while others were generally descriptive but I wouldn't have gotten them without crossing letters (concert hall). There were plenty of charades available that weren't used. But at least it was solvable so I can't complain TOO much. ;)
Argh! It ain't taking my answers either!
Edit: had the cross wrong somehow; the answers aren't case sensitive are they? I swear I had that answer typed in correctly but it wouldn't take it. I typed it in again w/ a capital first letter and then it took it. Naw, can't be; must have fat fingered something else. 110th! Crap!
[42] Circuit boards are only found in one department in the store.
any salt on circuirboard please
[29] Well, my answer isn't being accepted, but I'm pretty sure that's a particular person... his first and last name are all over the past 20 years of presidency, though, not at the same time. (hopefully not too salty.)
Totally confused at first, but once I knew what was going on, it came pretty quickly.
[49] Ronny C for president!
Finally found my error! I thought the 3rd from the end was a GOTHIC cross. Hint: it isn't.
How does GOTHIC fit with the theme? :)
[1][31][39][45] TYVM! :)
I see that wrap on the preview page on the home page and it keeps making me hungry... *sigh*
[54] You'd be amazed. I actually looked for a list of music types, since I didn't think some of the others were right. There are actually several types of gothic music.
Got them all except the shirts
[58] That's the easiest one. ;) What team?
Still don't have the weight and the physics reference was not help, salt please.
Who is the bob marley looking guy? With the colored striped hair.
I don't get the cross, the weight or the last one with the pollution, think I'll just give up!
[60] maybe it's made of praseodymium or dysprosium?
When I think of the cross I think of Ireland. The answer isn't gothic.
MATADOR thank you
What is so frustrating about these kind of puzzles is getting everything except 1 or 2 of them and then being so stuck you give up. Figured out the last one, but still.
NM: I finally got it, the weight seems so dang obvious now, but the cross was out there.
[50] I'm not tasting anything yet. Any more salt on the rainbow dude?
EDIT: Never mind. Finally found him and the answer - Yah!
[61, 67] - Free your mind and your a-- (and the answer) will follow. If you're still having trouble, you might need a flashlight.
[54] I also got stuck thinking it was gothic. There's a very large gothic subculture, and they've got their own style of music... I listen to the Sound Opinions podcast, and they did a feature on goth music last Halloween. Either way, great puzzle.
FUN!! GREAT PUZZLE!
any help with the farmers, its the only one i have left
You and me both, [71]... it ain't "soul".
nm i got it
[71],[72] They are just plain ole people. They would have plain music.
ha, yeah i tried soul too.
think traditional
[61] That guy ain't Thomas Jefferson's VP! (But he might be a member of Parliament)
Can someone TG me the solve method for yesterday's Hard OWW, the age/tea question? I guessed it, but don't know how you're supposed to solve for the answer. Thanks!
I really enjoyed that! Thanks.
Nice puzzle!!! Thanks.
Nice Puzzle!
i have them all right but it says NO wth?
friggin spelling errors
[35] is good seasoning for rainbow haired guy. It hit me like a Railroad.
Still can't get the girls/road I know who they are but that doesn't seem to help.
[84] Don't get stuck on it being a road (is it even a road? Can't really tell). It could be say an empty lot, or a farm field. It surely isn't an ocean.
[85] Thanks! that did it.
Never heard of the cloth one, or the Mr. White wedding one.
Oh Boy... I have everything but the Rainbow Haired Guy...even with the clues shared...
More Salt Please!
[87] rainbow haired guy is last name is: Clinton
Another hint: one of the 3 women is Natalie Mains (find what group she's in)
[88] Thanks.
Thought Mr. Clinton represented something that rhymed but started with a 'p.'
Nice one -- I had to guess on the rainbow haired guy (hadn't read the comments) but they were pretty straightforward. Well, the 3 women I'd figured out who they were, but wasn't sure what aspect of that was important. Saying it out loud helped.
