Suggestion: the Coke clue has two possible answers that end in the same letter. When using a clue like that, give us another letter via intersection or use a unique letter from the answer. For instance, it could have hung off from the question mark clue and thus avoided ambiguity.
Man, I still have no clue on the theme whatsoever. (Originally I was thinking along the lines of skateboard tricks, then I started thinking it was like an extended rebus. You can see how hopeless I am.) If anyone would like to tangagram me a hint on the theme, you'd be my very first tangagrammer! :)
I finished this, but I can't think of the wrong answer for the coke bottles (since many of you are saying there are 2 that fit). The only incorrect word that I can think of is "cola" but that doesn't fit the theme. Or is cola correct in some places?
Well disguised theme. I had 3/4 of the puzzle filled in before I got to the animal in the field. Then the AHA moment struck. Had to change one answer (I had scythe too) and I felt the four letter answer the farthest left could also have been EARS, but the plural didn't fit the picture, so the intended answer was better.
I liked the puzzle and theme. A few of clues seemed spelled incorrectly (8, 3, 18) but still solvable. The swab was a bit difficult. It might have helped if a couple of the letters were at an intersection.
I liked it to though I thought the scythe answer was not spelled that way, but with one letter less. Well, when combined with the theme anyway. Usually you have it spelled according to the thematic answer not the clued answer.
Can anyone help me with the tongue depressor one?
Missing the say ah one.
Yep, me too...I need the same one. I am nurse and not sure what could it be...
I can't get the critter in the field, either. hahahaha... FINALLY got the theme and that gave me the critter. :)
me makes four...any salt?
*slaps forehead* Aha... but something is misspelled... :(
Stuck on the tongue depressor :(
Ok...figured it out...but its not taking my answers...
Any salt on the depressor or theme?
How about a little salt on the singer? I may have this wrong...
I was to the 2nd to last answer filled in before the theme, um, jumped out at me.
I'm still not getting the theme.
OK got theme but still not the td
Darn... 13th because of a typo...
That, and whoever that man in the hat is....
What's going to happen after the scene with the tongue depressor?
she gets her throat swabbed?
no idea
[16] Pop a vein? Doesn't fit :/
Singer salt?
any salt on the man? thanks!
AHA!!!
OK, stretch there!
OM Goodness...just got the theme...
Now I'm not sure what the waiter is...
Salt??
Ok. Got the answers. Filled out the puzzle. Got my score.
What the bloody hell's the theme? Someone TG me?
Thought I was going to hate it at first.... but I dig it.
Pretty neat.
Hey! I FINALLY got it! This was fun!! : )
Is there any more salt for the tongue depressor one?
Cool Pozzle... ;-)
i'm not sure what i have wrong. any salt on the waiter?
Waiter = another name for a waiter. :)
ok, then i got that one. i'm just so confused as to what i have wrong
Which did everyone have misspelled?
Thanks to those who've TG'd me!
ROFL.... I thought that was Mick Jagger so I put 'ugly'. ;) ;) BZZZZZZZ
I took a wild guess on the depressor one using the theme. How is it supposed to fit?
You've never heard that phrase?
Arrgh. They all fit, but will not go.
Gaaaaah. I thought I had them all, but I have something wrong. But they all fit! Waaaah!
[30] check your email
Oh, never mind. I had the coke one wrong. Duh.
Ack Pony, me too! Needed a better clue on that one... two answers fit and are appropriate (based on where you live).
Kudos ... good puzzle!
[41] THANK YOU!!! I had that one wrong and your post helped so thanks!
Aargh! Who's that cat in the hat?
*Groan* good puzzle, but I didn't even get the theme until I had one left (the tongue depressor)
[45] He was a Honeymooner.
He's also what you call a guy with no arms and no legs hanging on a wall.
I have them all but must have something wrong.... any help?
[48] The Coke one could have two answers that fit. Try them both.
I think that I have them all but the motorcycle, it doesn't seem that anyone had a hard time with that one, only me.
I tried both and nothing... maybe i have the singer wrong?
[50] What is the action the rider is performing on the moto?
[51] Singer is known as a Godfather... but he's a punk.
[35] I thought it was Mick, too. Figured it out after MICK didn't fit with the other clues. heh
The theme is salted in [19].
[15] He was on The Honeymooners.
Got the theme but still not the tongue.
SALT NEEDED PLEASE!
Who is that singer????
What is with the tongue depressor???
I have all but those 2 & have no clue what the theme could be!
Edit: Never mind! I finally got the 2 I was missing.
[57] The tongue was tough. Looks like the doc is taking a swab of something... what will he develop with that?
[58]
- See [53] for the singer. Google is your friend.
- See [59] for a little salt on the tongue (shock!)!
[59] Thank you.
Got the only to realize i don't have the tongue depressor. I even got the theme awhile ago.....
Anyone think the singer looks like Tony Danza?
99th! Woot!
100th!
I thought the singer was a kung fu guy until I read [53], thanks!
[59] THANK YOU!! That got the tongue depressor for me for the win!
RE the dentist: GROOOOOAAAAN, but fun.
(52)Now that I got the cycle, had to change the one for the tool, any help there, I had scythe, but that has to be wrong.
Overall? Fun.

This was painful and while I got it, I still don't see the theme if there is one.
I think the singer gives away the theme best...
Dang, know who the singer is, but how does he relate to the puzzle?
Edit: Oops, had the wrong guy, I thought he was from the RHCP. Now I see how he fits.
Man, at first glance I was sure that was Anthony Kiedis!! I would've been sitting here forever if I hadn't read the comments!!
Thats so wrong that something you put in the fridge for it to smell better.
I still don't have the tongue one - I get the theme but am totally stumped on this one...can someone TG me?

The tongue depressor one would be easier with a picture of a dirty dish or agar.
man, I never realized how much that singer looks like Anthony Kiedis
[77] TG sent
ive got the theme, but i cant figure out the tongue one and the singer one (though i know who that guy is)
Could someone please TG me the theme? I'm just not getting this one!!
[78] POPSMEAR? EWWWWW!
[79] ultimate punk rocker!
[80] TG on its way!
[82] wow, thanks! i kept saying his name with the theme and it wasnt clicking. i feel dumb.
now for the tongue one
i'm with [80]... i have no clue on the theme, but i think i've got some of the clues...could i get a TG
Thanks, [59] -- that was just enough salt for me.
*GROAN*
Just got the theme...

finally got it!! :)
[85] TG sent.

All in all a good puzzle.
Wow, they used my puzzle and I've been in training all day. For those who gave compliments, thank you! I hope you all enjoyed my 1st hypercross.
The one looked SO much like a ferret... such a cool animal.
Very nice puzzle. A little hard with the tongue depressor, but....
Hmm, I obviously have something wrong, though I can't see what it is.
Perhaps it's the Holiday one. I see the connection, though the "thematic" way is spelled different than what the ? in the picture should be.
Or maybe the guy with the hat is wrong. But it looks right based on Wikipedia and the Honeymooners clue.
The only other one I can think of is the sales data one, but the word I found fits the other words and the theme, I think.
Any suggestions on what it MIGHT be, IE, common mistakes that could just be missed somewhere? (I got the tongue depresser one)
Der... that ain't cola! Had me stuck for a while!
I liked the puzzle and theme. A few of clues seemed spelled incorrectly (8, 3, 18) but still solvable. The swab was a bit difficult. It might have helped if a couple of the letters were at an intersection.
I don't get the theme? Please TG me.
Thanks
Finished but no idea what the theme is.
