May 20, 2008 Hypercross Puzzle

Good clues made this a pleasure to solve.

need salt on 8, 10, 11... I can't see 8 very well.

[2] For eight, the top is a very popular book right now,first of a series, by Stephenie Meyer.

For once(11), the second image, Richie Rich is very Sauvé.

I'm having trouble with #4 and #5. I'm pretty sure my answer for #13 is correct, but getting the others to mesh properly is an issue. Any salt?

[4] Four A cryptopix would be the dad from Married with children, a pig, and a female undergarment.
Five Is Biblical in reference, but you might not be able to understand what I am saying.

I am actually liking the theme of the puzzle less and less since I have seen it at least three times so far - this one at least had clues that were gettable without having to slog through a website!

[11] agree, I never liked it to start, and the only saving grace of this one is that I was almost through before I realized what the theme was...ugghh...I have never been a BGG, and if I ever had any interest...not anymore!

For anyone stuck on the liquored comic book character, you might need to cross the border to the south to get the correct pronunciation.
