After 50 minutes of intense research, I've found 10 of them. I think. :( Thank heavens today's my day off; this would be impossible if I were trying to get ready for work.
If there's a single online source to look these up, that would be nice. I did not play any of these.

#11: I found this on a google image search (on the second page) with the obvious keywords (theme, main feature in image)
#14: it is an activision game, but I can't think of good salt
#15: this was one of the first side-scrolling brawlers. I think there were 3 or 4 of them, and it was an arcade game first.
#16: see [13] #18: the original pack-in game with the 2600
#21: If those were horses instead of ostriches that were mounted, you'd probably know it.
#22: What are those monsters doing? (different form of verb than this salt indicates)
I can proudly say I only have to google for one of these. Should I be proud of that? I did chuckle that for some of these, they clearly didn't look nearly that good on the 2600 :)
I also didn't know that 15 and 22 ever came out for the good ol' 2600.

I know nothing about Atari games. So far I've managed to come up with something for 1-9, 11, 14, 17, and 20.
Edit: I just got 22.
Is there a reason why I can't see any of the pictures? This is going to be mighty difficult if I have only the thumbnails to go by....

I'm somewhat disturbed that I managed to solve all of these without looking any of them up. I think I got half of them from the thumbnails.
[33] 14 and 20 are both from Activision, which might help you narrow things down. 12 has a word in common with 11.

[36] I think those two first made home appearances on the NES.
Edit: I just did some searching- they DID come out for the good ol' VCS. The last one was released in 1989! (several years after the NES came out)
I do know that there are a few people still making VCS games, but still....
Took me awhile to finish since I decided to drag out the 2600 and play each of the games first.
