Solve the clues to fill in the grid! Type in the answers to the clues on the right side of the Hypercross puzzle below. Clicking a thumbnail image will enlarge it. Nice puzzle. Got the theme after the fourth one and knew what it was, but I agree with [1], #8 was difficult at first

There has been a hypercross with the same theme in the past....I don't understand the title and how it corresponds with the theme though.

[16] Ain't gonna happen! This is #1's year to be #1... Finally! (Though I admit, I'm rooting for #5 so #1 won't have to deal with #10.)
#11 threw me for a while. I didn't know that about the people pictured. I can think of a couple of bands/singers which would have brought the answer to mind more readily...
