  6. FileEggplantTintin on Tue May 13, 2008 07:12 PM

[2][3]I think we should hide the salt on number 7 for a while

  7. FileEggMurdoctor on Tue May 13, 2008 07:12 PM

#9 is spelled wrong on purpose.

#7 is a questionable clue, and the answer is missing a letter at the end.

  8. FileAcescarver on Tue May 13, 2008 07:12 PM

#7 is a picture of a Marvel comic character.

  9. FileOnionmetafor on Tue May 13, 2008 07:13 PM

    any salt on #18 please?

  10. FileTomatotlmitch7 on Tue May 13, 2008 07:14 PM

Just need 10 and 16, any salt please.

  11. FileTomatotlmitch7 on Tue May 13, 2008 07:15 PM

[9] Well, it is not a hotel?

  12. FileAcescarver on Tue May 13, 2008 07:15 PM

#18 is a picture of a playing piece from Monopoly.

  13. FileOnionmetafor on Tue May 13, 2008 07:15 PM

[10] 16 is an old tv show

  14. FileOnionmetafor on Tue May 13, 2008 07:16 PM

    Thank you one and all!

  15. FileAcescarver on Tue May 13, 2008 07:16 PM

[10] 10 is a minor character from a 60's tv show. And the movie remake.

  16. FileTomatobcgrote on Tue May 13, 2008 07:16 PM

Is #7 misspelled? Or just hiding? (#14 wasn't too rocky for me, just know your spelling!!)

  17. FilePancakeshatemachine on Tue May 13, 2008 07:17 PM

    Boooo on misspelling #7

  18. Avatar_profileRocketDanielWilson on Tue May 13, 2008 07:17 PM

clue 7 is off. has single letter which should be duplicated.

  19. FileAcescarver on Tue May 13, 2008 07:17 PM

[15] #7 is some of that scurvy wordplay that [1] referred to. Check your literary spelling.

  20. FileSailboatzyzzva on Tue May 13, 2008 07:20 PM

    7,8,14,16?

  21. FileEggmnemonica on Tue May 13, 2008 07:21 PM

Aw, something isn't working right, though I'm sure I have them all.

  22. FilePancakeshatemachine on Tue May 13, 2008 07:21 PM

[19] Yeah, check literary spelling...then remove a letter...

  23. Calvin_adviceGrapesdtaylor77 on Tue May 13, 2008 07:21 PM

got them all but 7 and I have no idea

  24. FileAcescarver on Tue May 13, 2008 07:22 PM

[21] mnemonica, TG me and I'll help.

  25. FilePumpkinBigSlick on Tue May 13, 2008 07:23 PM

Any hint on what the heck to search for on #7? I don't how to narrow down a search for a green Marvel character w/o 1,000,000 hits!

  26. FileClockJewelia on Tue May 13, 2008 07:24 PM

    [23] Check your TGs.

  27. FileAcescarver on Tue May 13, 2008 07:25 PM

[25] I'm sure the answer is hyding in one of those million hits.

  28. FilePepperslobeavis on Tue May 13, 2008 07:25 PM

Shouldn't there be two L's on #7? Most google searches and all IMDB movies have it as two L's.

  29. FileAcescarver on Tue May 13, 2008 07:28 PM

    [28] [17] [18] I have altered it for 2 L's if you refresh.

    Nice puzzle

  34. FilePumpkinBigSlick on Tue May 13, 2008 07:31 PM

[27] Thanks! I think I have that now; still need 14 though!

  35. FileSailboatloserkid7182 on Tue May 13, 2008 07:35 PM

any help on 15 and 13?

  36. New_scout_logoCheeseburgerscoutmom on Tue May 13, 2008 07:35 PM

[34] Good salt for 14 can be found in [15]

  37. 2739833647_e854fb2bbeCarrotcbrady928 on Tue May 13, 2008 07:35 PM

I have all answers, but it's not accepting it...

  38. Picture-303Pumpkingodard on Tue May 13, 2008 07:35 PM

I guess I don't understand how the Cubs answer is misspelled.

  39. New_scout_logoCheeseburgerscoutmom on Tue May 13, 2008 07:36 PM

[38] Use the Russian spelling :)

  40. FileDuckienrkii on Tue May 13, 2008 07:36 PM

wow, I think all the clue numbers must have changed, because none of the comments here seem to line up with what I'm looking at in the puzzle

  41. FileSailboatzyzzva on Tue May 13, 2008 07:36 PM

    i need 7, 13, 15 (after the refresh)

  42. FileOnionzyrilia on Tue May 13, 2008 07:36 PM

    [12]Isn't #17 a picture of a Monopoly piece? I'm needing a little salt on #15 and #18, myself.

  43. FileAcescarver on Tue May 13, 2008 07:37 PM

Warning to all: I fixed the spelling to #7. Refresh your puzzle.

  44. New_scout_logoCheeseburgerscoutmom on Tue May 13, 2008 07:37 PM

Whoa!! My answers are still in the same spot, but all the clues are different!

  45. Avatar_profileAceGertSoB on Tue May 13, 2008 07:38 PM

[40] Yes, all the clue numbers have changed; major screwup. Scarver, DON'T do that!!!!

  46. FileAcescarver on Tue May 13, 2008 07:38 PM

[42] [41] #15 makes you want do the time warp, again.

  47. New_scout_logoCheeseburgerscoutmom on Tue May 13, 2008 07:38 PM

[41] #7 - the black and white picture...hated the Hatfields.

  48. FileDuckienrkii on Tue May 13, 2008 07:39 PM

ugh, all the clues are off by one!

  49. Calvin_adviceGrapesdtaylor77 on Tue May 13, 2008 07:39 PM

    me too [37]

  50. Pretzel3_profileTomatoDavmar on Tue May 13, 2008 07:39 PM

    what is that green character?

  51. New_scout_logoCheeseburgerscoutmom on Tue May 13, 2008 07:39 PM

#15 after the refresh - if it is the bird - it's in the plover family.

  52. New_scout_logoCheeseburgerscoutmom on Tue May 13, 2008 07:40 PM

[50] The green character makes you want to hyde!

  53. FileAcescarver on Tue May 13, 2008 07:40 PM

    [50] Look at [25] and [27].

  54. FileTomatoRagspur on Tue May 13, 2008 07:41 PM

Boo! The expanding green dude name and the random wordplay in the middle made this a labor.

  55. Avatar_profileAceGertSoB on Tue May 13, 2008 07:42 PM

I'm sure I've got them all, and it's still not taking it. Can I TG anyone?

  56. FileSailboatloserkid7182 on Tue May 13, 2008 07:42 PM

could anyone salt #13. i believe thats all i have left and its killing me!

  57. FileAcescarver on Tue May 13, 2008 07:42 PM

    [55] TG me.

  58. FileAcescarver on Tue May 13, 2008 07:43 PM
  59. FileSailboatloserkid7182 on Tue May 13, 2008 07:44 PM

    [46] is talking about 15. . . . not 13.

  60. FilePumpkinBigSlick on Tue May 13, 2008 07:45 PM

[36] Great! There aren't *too* many 60's TV shows that could possibly come from! :-) / :-(

  61. FileAcescarver on Tue May 13, 2008 07:45 PM

[59] They both reference the hot dog image. When we refreshed the spelling, some clues got re-numbered.

  62. FileEggmnemonica on Tue May 13, 2008 07:47 PM

    [57] I've tg'd you, too ...

  63. Sammyhotslut1Radishby3times1minus1 on Tue May 13, 2008 07:47 PM

can someone help me with the spelling on the bird or hotdog ones?

  64. Sammyhotslut1Radishby3times1minus1 on Tue May 13, 2008 07:47 PM

    duplicate post

  65. AvaCarrotdavego on Tue May 13, 2008 07:53 PM

timewarp for hotdog? does that mean put it in the microwave?
    Edit: Oh, that Time Warp

  66. FileDuckienrkii on Tue May 13, 2008 07:48 PM

oh god, now I have them all, but something must be spelled wrong

  67. FileSailboatloserkid7182 on Tue May 13, 2008 07:53 PM

[61] im still at a loss. is there anything else you can shake on that?

edit: it might be me just mis spelling????

edit the edit: it was just me mis spelling! thanks for the help anyway!

  68. FileDuckiedavey3 on Tue May 13, 2008 07:49 PM

    [33] really????

  69. Avatar_profileCarrotkulaid on Tue May 13, 2008 07:53 PM

The one that is wrong is probably the one with Wrigley Field - there is no hint that it is a Russian wordplay on what most people put the first time in that answer

  70. FileDuckienrkii on Tue May 13, 2008 07:54 PM

I got the russian one... everything matches exactly what my mother has on her end of the phone, except the double-letter change, which I see and she doesn't. hers took, mine didnt.

  71. OctopusPeppercomishcraig on Tue May 13, 2008 07:55 PM

    I need help with 7, 15 and 18

  72. Avatar_profileAppleLightInfo on Tue May 13, 2008 07:55 PM

    what is that bird?

  73. FileDuckienrkii on Tue May 13, 2008 07:56 PM

had to back out and re-enter 3 separate times before it took

  74. Avatar_profileAceGertSoB on Tue May 13, 2008 07:57 PM

I call shenanigans. I TG'd scarver my answers and s/he has confirmed that they are right, but it's not taking it. I've gone back to a blank browser and come back to this page, and re-typed everything, and it's still not taking it.

  75. Avatar_profileAceGertSoB on Tue May 13, 2008 08:00 PM

I'm sure it's because the clues got rearranged in the middle.

  76. Img_0189Egggst on Tue May 13, 2008 08:04 PM

    [74] ditto.

What a pain. I've entered it all three times.

  77. FileAcescarver on Tue May 13, 2008 08:03 PM

[72] the bird is a type of plover

  78. Avatar_profileAceGertSoB on Tue May 13, 2008 08:13 PM

OK, it's gone. Though Scarver said I had them all right!

  79. FilePumpkinBigSlick on Tue May 13, 2008 08:09 PM

OK, if someone doesn't give me some salt on the hot dog, I am goin' postal! OK, not really, it's just really frustrating me, 'cause I just can't get that one!

  80. Avatar_profileAceGertSoB on Tue May 13, 2008 08:09 PM

And no, of course I'm not putting spaces in #13, there isn't room for them even if I wanted to.

  81. Avatar_profileAceGertSoB on Tue May 13, 2008 08:10 PM

[79], there's your salt. A whole big rock of it. Much good may it do you.

  82. Current.deal.avOnionmonocle on Tue May 13, 2008 08:11 PM

need the bird and that green monster thing

  83. FilePumpkinBigSlick on Tue May 13, 2008 08:17 PM

[78] You have one spelled wrong - now edit that list away!

Edit: well, that would have been easy to miss for Scarver taking a quick look.

  84. Phi3CornPhilana on Tue May 13, 2008 08:12 PM

[6] All the salt I needed was in [7], that the answer was misspelled.

  85. Avatar_profileCarrotkulaid on Tue May 13, 2008 08:19 PM

The hotdog one is from Rocky Horror Picture show.

The green monster one is from a famous story of dual personalities.

The bird was a character played by Richard Chamberlain

  86. ImagesGarlicracheal0101 on Tue May 13, 2008 08:24 PM

And I thought I could spell. Help please?

  87. Avatar_profileRadishRastus on Tue May 13, 2008 08:30 PM

Ok got them all I think. Which one is spelled wrong?

  88. FileBananaslbaxter on Tue May 13, 2008 09:02 PM

Ok, this is frustrating. I have checked my spelling by typing all the answers in Google and they all seem to be spelled correctly. But it won't accept my answers. Grrr.

  89. Joerg_vegas_april_2006__21_AppleMrsBonsai on Tue May 13, 2008 09:11 PM

Yup I'm having trouble with the spelling too. Pretty sure I have 7 the way they wanted it. Hmm.

  90. Joerg_vegas_april_2006__21_AppleMrsBonsai on Tue May 13, 2008 09:21 PM

    Never mind, I got it :) [38] & [39] helped.

  91. Avatar_profileAppleRavis13 on Tue May 13, 2008 09:39 PM

I'm in the same boat. Pretty sure I have the answers correct, but it's not taking it.

[90] I'm pretty sure I'm having that problem, but [38] and [39] aren't helping me figure out how I should be spelling it.

  92. FileAppledlandon2000 on Tue May 13, 2008 09:37 PM

Ok this REALLY bugs me #2 was NOT referred to as Dr. he was just Mr. ugh!!

  93. Avatar_profileKiwitaznjazz on Tue May 13, 2008 10:18 PM

  95. Avatar_profileKiwitaznjazz on Tue May 13, 2008 10:40 PM

thanks [47], the black and white one further illustrates [92]'s point

  96. Avatar_profileKiwitaznjazz on Tue May 13, 2008 10:54 PM

cannot for the life of me figure out what is spelled wrong

  97. Avatar_profileKiwitaznjazz on Tue May 13, 2008 10:59 PM

I think I got the [38] and [39] clue, but still no dice

  98. FileAcescarver on Wed May 14, 2008 09:24 AM

[92] [95] The mister #2 was named after a famous pediatric doctor and author with the same name.

  99. FileSailboatyelowflower on Wed May 14, 2008 11:49 AM

ok, my turn... I have them all and it's not taking them...I know I'm really late here...on a mini vacation and just got my internet up
